EVDO wireless technology. Wireless is profitable for BSNL as more than 100 customers can be accommodated in single BTS.. ,???
I doubt. Max 24 customers/BTS? Max Down load speed in reality 100-150Kbps.

bsnl is a joke!750pm unlimited for evdo which is wireless!but for bb its 2mb unlimited plan cost is unimaginable! What are bsnl supporters view about this mad policy?

Why do u call this mad? If your like to have unlimited 2mbps ,wireless plan go for EVDO ,Isn’t it a good thing to get it at low cost …. or do u want pay more for EVDO also…

As far as ADSL is concerned its old and costly technology (Per meter of cable have more than 50 rs , maintenance is also very difficult) , so it will costlier than new EVDO wireless technology. Wireless is profitable for BSNL as more than 100 customers can be accommodated in single BTS.. ,so they will promote its usage more than wired technology

BSNL Landline Broadband has many advantages over BSNL EVDO:
    1. Upload speed is more
    2. Constant download speed (No fluctuation like EVDO which sows only the max speed of 2 Mbps or more but average speed using some downloader like Flashget etc shows below 1000 kbps whereas in Landline it is always 2000 kbps + )
    3. Torrents sucks in EVDO
I have used both the EVDO (less than 500 meters from BTS) and Landline. I download around 10 times more in Landline with much lesser bills.

which plan did you used?do you know the cost of unlimited 2mbps bb plan?

At the end of the day, its the customer’s discretion which technology he/she would use. if he/she chooses broadband, he/she pays for it. When that is the case, BSNL exploits the opportunity. That is called marketing. Learn it to use it.

If it was good marketing then most people would have used evdo not photon or netconnect!!

I mentioned ‘exploiting opportunity’. Understand the meaning. :P

Only because of BSNL best services, people will prefer bsnl, other evdo of bsnl is too costly, 750/month for unlimited but mtnl provides 75/month for unlimited in evdo, so who will go for bsnl

Rs. 75/month is the charge for basic 1X service, not for EVDO.

Don’t get confused with MTNL service. MTNL has got only 1X cdma service having maximum speed of 144 kbps. It do not have any EVDO plan or service. Unlimited download and upload is provided by MTNL on its CDMA 1X network for Rs. 75 per month
