Nokia, the world’s leading mobile phone manufacturer, has topped the prestigious Brand Equity “Most Trusted Brands” (MTB) Survey for the 2nd consecutive year. The survey, which was conducted by The Nielsen Company, is the largest, most diverse and most prestigious survey of its kind, with over 8,000 respondents nation-wide. The ‘Brand Equity’ Survey was held for the 6th year.
The results of the survey were announced on 16th August evening in Mumbai, at a ceremony which was attending by representatives of all leading brands across the country.
Other winners include: Colgate (2nd place) and Lux (3rd place).In TELECOM, some of the players who have moved up include: Airtel, BSNL, Vodafone with each of them featuring in the TOP 30 list – they ranked 12, 19 and 30 respectively.

Some others may be good than Nokia in some sector but when it comes to the basic needs like talk-time,stand by time Nokia is the best… One can rely upon it with closed eyes… They deliver what they promise & charge upon it… Globally Trust = Nokia

@ajay i also agree SE offers better camera,sound & FM, but if u watch out applications for SE Java based phones, theyr limited, while Nokia java& symbian based phones enjoy a wide range of mobi-appz ! and fact is nokia is better in making brand value !

I think Sony Ericson is better than No-kia handsets, in audio, model, network antenna quality. No kia is easy to use, battry life, strong antenna benefit gave him #1. FM quality is best in Sony Ericson compare to NO KIA. SE’s cheapest FM enable model having better sound quality compare to NOKIA.
