No Discounts On Calls And SMS on Dec 31, Jan 1 On BSNL

India's National Telecom back bone and pan India 3G mobile service operator Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) today announced that the concessional voice calls/SMS by using any Special Tariff Vouchers (STVs) are not made available to customers on New Year Eve 31.12.2010 and New Year day 01.01.2011 for its GSM subscribers.

To provide smooth network without any congestion for Voice Calls and SMS on 31st December and 1st January the New year day, BSNL Tamilnadu circle announced that all the 2G/3G STV or plans are offered with initial freebies and monthly freebies on voice and SMS will not be available or applicable on New Year Eve and New year Day. The concessional voice calls/SMS will be charged on these days.




The deduced tariff on Voice calls offered during off-peak hours for plans like student, Vasantham, En-Nanban, En-Nanban super will be withdrawn and parent plan or base tariff charging will be applied on these days. The FNF, FFL, FCD (for reduce call charges on selected numbers) also will be charged as per parent tariff plan.
