MTV Volt from Swipe & MTV India Packs 6″ Display & Jelly Bean

Swipe Telecom has announced its latest Android device – 6 inch MTV Volt in association with MTV India. It is the first Android smartphone with larger 6 inch display, a bit odd from popular 5 inch phablets.

The phone is launched as per the 2 year deal between Viacom18 (controls MTV India) and Swipe Telecom. There are several devices to be launched under this partnership in coming days.

6″ ?? carrying & operating with one hand will be extremely difficult.Besides u have 7″ tablets already in the market + 512mb RAM for 13k…are u joking??

  7″ tablets don’t have SIM slot which require dongle (as WiFi is not available in general in India) to connect it to Internet. Adding Rs. 1500 to price and cumbersome to use.
