MTS India, the mobile service from the house of Sistema Shyam Teleservices which operates on CDMA technology has launched a new SMS Pack for high SMS users in Kolkata metro circle.
MTS India introduces unlimited SMS pack like other operators with fair usage policy of 500 SMS per day. But MTS is charging huge for this SMS pack. MTS unlimited SMS pack (daily 500 local and national SMS) is priced Rs 104 for a period of 30 days.
Compared to market’s costliest unlimited SMS pack at Rs 80 from Airtel and Vodafone, MTS’s SMS pack is priced too high while MTS is popular for cheaper tariffs. Only Airtel has such high-cost sms plans in Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh. Reliance CDMA and GSM are offering same at Rs 39 per month. From user experience MTS SMS services has different problems – facebook sms, Google SMS channel and Google SMS search often don’t work with MTS.
CDMA operators have lowest ARPU in the telecom market. Keeping this in mind, there will be few takers for this new pack of MTS.

MTS is unpredictable imho… It gives 1000 FREE local minutes for Rs199/- and also 500SMS/day for Rs104/-

Google sms channel always works with MTS….I personally using it without any hassel…..
MyToday sms service also works flawlesly with MTS….But mytoday has its personal problems & this problems occures with every operator…

I have no problem regarding fb or google,infact all these comments from tt is comning to me via sms also and also my today is nt blocked.but this sms pack is very expensive.nt worth.

facebook and google sms channel works most of the time, but updts frm fb often dont reach to mts no. i personally hav d experience of such. Google search on 9773300000 nvr wrkd on mts !

On one hand they provide cheap call rate on other hand huge sum for SMS pack,
It’s one and the equal,
Every operator is having only one good scheme.

go for daily deduction plan in mts. Rs.16+ [1 X 30] = 46 p.m. with 200 sms/day. In reliance if i send a sms now it reaches another party after 2 hr. who want quality & not quantity might go with mts
