MTS India Unveil Samsung Mpower 699 Mobile Phone

MTS India, the CDMA mobile service brand of Sistema Shyam Teleservices Ltd (SSTL) introduces Samsung Mpower 699 (SCH F699) world’s first OMH CDMA Mobile phone on its network in association with Samsung Electronics at discounted price for Mumbai telecom circle.

The Samsung’s Mpower 699 is the world’s first CDMA phone to offer this flexibility to customers since the network settings for the CDMA connection have shifted from the phone to the OMH SIM card. Previously the handset was available with Reliance Mobile and Tata Indicom network in India.

Samsung Mpower 699 comes with a 1.3MP Camera with video recording and advanced multimedia features such as audio player, video player and stereo FM radio. The handset also comes with an advanced Mobile Tracker, dedicated camera key, and a 1GB MicroSD card. The OMH compliant Samsung Mpower 699 will be available with MTS India at discounted price of Rs.Rs.6250.

MTS India also offers Samsung Guru Muzik (SCH B519) at Rs.2950 and Samsung Super Star (SCH S189) color display mobile phone at Rs.1099.

    I will like to use some other connection in my cdma phone “MTS” as mts is not available in our city, kindly please help….

    hi guys,
    the same mobile is available for 6000Rs without any discount in the open market.
    seems like they r cheating the consumers.and btw LG handset is also available with 2mp camera and a host of features for 5800rs.

    But still MTS Card are not available in Mumbai circle. only Hoardings are present at all most mobile shops and they are telling cards will be made available after 1 January 2010…

    I want to know how is the battery backup means how the battery last?And hows the mp3 sound quality both with and without headphone?Please provide me the details bcoz i want to bye a cdma mobile very soon.

    hi guys,

    i am from BANGALORE. i am using samsung guru cell with TATA/MTS.so samsung cell is gud.Again MTS is also gud.but no per/sec billing in roaming.Also SMS is simply unaffordable.

    Hi Avishek,

    Samsung Musik B519 is a good fone .
    U can check as per that price segment and features Haier recently launched CDMA C121 , i am using that one. Cool,rauchy and royal back looks with Features like Fm , Mp3 , 1000 Phone Bk numbers , 1000 Sms and great Battery backup..

    Price is 1850…

    yesterday. i had just ask price of f699. he say Rs6300. does mts providing only rs50. discount. or provinding conection also free. with 1p/2sc

    Yes Samsung guru muzik is a good phone,i am using this phone since 2 month.It’s sound quality is awesome both with headphone or without headphone.even if you records some songs from FM it’s sounds also very very loud and clear.With moderate use it’s battery last one and half day easily.There is a free 1 GB memory card with this phone also.So go for it.

    no problem with mobile phone.i am using it for last 3months.netwok is very good.voice quality is very good and battery life depends upon your usages.

    Good handset from Samsung & MTS….but it is costly according to my budget…I am ready to buying Samsung GURU Muzik-SCH-B519 soon……BTW if anyone had used it…pls post ur experience…about its battery life,network quality & voice quality….is it(GURU Muzik) worth to buying???
