Dear, yes I know that, but with GSM Global roaming supported SIM, so if users only have costly CDMA handset , it is not possiblr to roam globally. And for the celeb and business men is it very embarrassing.

Anirban Das :@ varun Have you any contact with actors like Shahrukh, Amitabh, Ranbir etc. or such rich people? ok,then why are you taking at “telecomtalk”, where mostly normal people use to comment? I am feeling proud to talk a person like you, who have such contacts and having personal contact with such celeb. Your ans is CDMA does not support “World Wide Roaming”, this is preferably most important reason of that, such people need this. And the people , who have no need for international roaming , they can use CDMA, proudly.

W ho says CDMA operators don’t gives international roaming??????? MTS already gives international roaming facility across the world.

If u tried any cdma connection in any handset samsung or LG The voice clarity is un matched when talked for a longer period , So definitely go for cdma, It has unique clarity, where the GSM is a distured and like a radio talking many times.
Try cdma with any hand set and feel the clear voice even in low signal area.

dude, are you not aware that the voice quality in a CDMA network is far far superior and reliable than a GSM network. If you have some business to talk for half an hour, you will feel like going to hell on a GSM mobile, whereas in CDMA both the parties can hear everything crystal clear. That’s why CDMA still exists, al biet all it’s shortcomings. So please don’t say- ‘that too for a CDMA mobile’!

If you buy CDMA Galaxy Y , then due to CDMA technology, the voice quality is much more better than the GSM, if and only if the coverage of your CDMA n/w is good in your location. :)

It is available for Rs. 6600/- approx through online purchasing then why to pay 8,000/- Furthermore there is every chance that u won’t be satisfied with the device for sound quality ( when it comes to listening music ) is very low, battery backup is very poor ( even if u turn off GPS/BT/ auto sync etc etc) and the back button might not work at times. Touch screen is highly responsive. If u send a lot of message then typing could be very problematic. It does not support flash playerer. Call quality is okay. In my personal opinion avoid it.
