In a bid to boost its CDMA Mobile services in Mumbai, MTS India, the CDMA mobile service brand of Sistema Shyam Teleservices Ltd (SSTL) introduces its most popular scheme of one million minutes of free talk time with a limit of 150 minutes (Own Net) usage everyday with its MSaver-495.
In December 2009 when MTS India starts commercial operations in Mumbai, this scheme was not launched after a long wait finally Mumbai gets the one million minutes schemes from the operators.
MTS India MSaver-495 is now available in Mumbai through E-Recharge which cost Rs.495.With this recharge subscribers will get 150 Free Minutes per day for OWN Network callings across Mumbai, Maharashtra, Goa MTS Network.The offer is valid for Life time from the date of recharge.
MTS India also launches MSaver 95 which provides Unlimited Free Own Net Local callings (Mumbai-Maharashtra-Goa) and cost Rs.95 for 30 days.

Hey we have tried the MTS Network & Phones. The most amazing part is that our monthly outgo has reduced drastically. After having spoken to some other MTS users got a feedback that there is a DEFINITE cost saving of at least Rs. 500 per month (earlier outgo > Rs. 1000). The Handset models offered are also of very good quality with a great battery life. Buying a connection with a handset pays of within 2 months flat!!
And another great feature is ZERO Recharge for LIFE …. which service provider gives you all that ??

In other states they offer same offer charging 499 rs but with 10 sms daily free uptill 2028.Wonder why mumbai wansnt offered the same.

In RoB,Ur answer is No….. with per sec u can opt only 95 mcard….
& with per mint. u can opt 495,99,49 at a time….
Yes u r right…& I hope within few months MTS will able to fullfill ur needs….but as per my experience the voice clarity with MTS is awesome here & the best in RoB in both CDMA & GSM segment…although Idea have also good voice clarity over here…but not at par with MTS…..the only -ve with MTS is it’s network coverage….although in a short span of 8 months it has covered a vast part of RoB(The best coverage over all operators after lanunching period with 8 months)….but it take some more monthS to cover every corner of RoB…..but at initial stage it also has a great coverage…..Aircel & Reliance GSM,after so many years of launching they had a third class coverage in interiors…in this aspect & in all other aspects MTS is going great………& in near future it will be the greatest……..

I was only talking about the per minute customer only…As per my knowledge goes– any customer with STV-499 can’t opt for MSaver95(the 1p/2 sec offer) but will have to carry on with MSaver-99 wherein the landline rates are bit steep with 50p..Also the 49STV for 49p STD is also not applicable for per second customers..But whatever may the technical jargons,tariffs etc.–I am of the opinion that MTS is by far ahead of the competition not simply by virtue of lowest tariffs in every segment but also due to great network..However issue of better clarity needs to be sorted out in the near future..

I think the Tata CDMA customers should never think twice to switch over to MTS once MNP comes into effect..I myself being a TATA Indicom customer from early days and even after possessing two MTS connections..I shall readily switch..The main factor remains the network..within a span of 8 months(approx) in Kolkata Circle,the network is awesome..clarity is also on the better side..and with one time investment you are going to enjoy some facilities which may be launched by other biggies a year after from now…

I am new MTS Mobile customer , the voice quality is ok ,,, but issues in SMS , unable to open the SMS in the INBOX ,,handset is nokia 6235 cdma …was on other cdma provider earlier.
have also issues with calls failing to mature during peak hours even to the MTS toll free numbers.
can anybody help for the SMS issues

It is the initial problem with a new operator….I also face the same problem of sms & n/w busy with MTS in first few months in RoB circle….but after few months all these problems are vanished here….now the network of MTS is one of the best in RoB circle…I am using MTS from the first week they launched their service here…so wait for few days & then all problems are solve…..

hi guys.
I am using MTS since the past 4 months.the voice quality is excellent.still some minor issues exist like SMS.or in the evenings we won’t be able to call we always get a message saying network is busy.so keeping MTS as a 2nd cell phone is the best solution at present.I am from BANGALORE.

MTS customers need the mcard 95 offer mostly, not this local on-net as I guess…
