MTS India, the CDMA mobile service of Sistema Shyam Teleservices Ltd (SSTL), commercially expands its Mobile Broadband Service M-Blaze in the Maharashtra and Goa telecom circle.
However the CDMA mobile service is yet to be launched in Maharashta-Goa circle but network is almost ready and the operator starts its debut with the MBlaze Data service,which now commercially available in Pune and Goa.
MTS High speed data service now available in Delhi, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Trivandrum, Calicut, Kochi, Chennai, Coimbatore, Trichy, Bangalore, Kolkatta, Siliguri, Durgapur, Patna, Mangalore, Mumbai, Haryana, Pune and Goa.
The MTS MBlaze EVDO Wireless Broadband Internet Services comes in two options; the Standard Data Card comes at the price point of Rs.2999 with 2GB Free Downloads while the Premium Data Card cost Rs.3499. MTS also introduced attractive Prepaid Data Plans which starts from Rs.198 per month.
According to the new announcement by MTS India, M Blaze subscriber will now be able to use this Pre-Paid service with by default rates of Rs.2 per MB and with Data plan subscription it will cost as low as 10 paisa per MB and also can enjoy data service while on move without any roaming charges on Data Services with in the MTS network.
MTS Mblaze subscribers will be able to browse the web FREE for news, sports, fashion, lifestyle, travel and to shop using popular websites like Yahoo India,Wikipedia and MakeMyTrip.

Good going MTS, but data rates need to go cheaper, and substantially along the lines of wired high speed broadband, else there will be few takers. Already the data card costs so much and not many consumers will be taking up the service if not subsidized.
