MTS India and Uninor (Mumbai) Mobile Services Can Be Continue Till Feb 4th : Supreme Court

Supreme Court of India today allowed MTS India and Uninor (Mumbai circle), whose mobile service license were due to be revoked on 18th January as per an earlier Supreme Court’s order, to continue their mobile services until it hears the case next on 4th February, 2013.

MTS India and Uninor

    Hi,
one of the India’s best data card . still we have hopes SC will give permission to extent MTS licence. People worried about their Data/voice card usage or MTS licence it is not a matter of TROI /SC , it is between two good country’s long relation ship.

Somebody’s mistake it may be going to end two country’s long relation ship.

Love you MTS. Really getting for what I have paid.

Old Reliance datacard still stuck with dialup download speeds of 30 Kbps and upload speeds of 200 Kbps

The supreme court should keep a simple clause stating that the companies whose licenses are at stake should be asked to deposit the earnest money for 11th March auctions before the next hearing date which if 4th February. This will ensure their intention to participate in the auctions in which case the licenses should be extended to 15th March, and companies who fail to pay the earnest money should be forced to terminate their services on midnight of 5th February.

MTS is by far the best carrier in West Bengal as well as in other part of the India. They are more sticky on their price which by far best. So, I wish MTS continue its service in India. I want to upgrade my phone but due to this spectrum issue I’m waiting for it.

it is of no use of calling to MTS customer care for calling for unwanted balance deductions. u have to complain in pgportal.gov.in to get the desired results.

But for me they solved the problem for me 3 times when i got issues. So i have no problem with it. Compared to calling to customer care that is the best i can say.

Ahh they keep postponing everytime. I was waiting for the result of that curative petition thing so that I can buy MTS data card.

BTW I asked MTS Customer Care they said “We will continue our business in India, don’t worry”. I asked whether they’ll refund in case services shut down. They said that they will refund the amount. Still I am skeptical about buying.

Reasons to buy: No tata docomo cdma coverage indoor. I have a Reliance Netconnect+, but that “+” in the branding is for namesake only. Speeds. on an average, don’t go above 144 Kbps. I am on a limited plan- 449 2GB, so no FUP is applicable. My friend has MTS. At my home location, It gave speeds above 1 Mbps constantly.

I don’t feel like buying unlocked CDMA card- It costs 2000. The branded card is for Rs. 750 only Plus 501 FRC for 10 GB valid for 30 days.
    What to do now? :/

Why supreme court is showing mercy on MTS when this operator not going to bid for any circle. MTS is getting free benefit.
