MTS today announced the launch of its high-speed mobile broadband service, MBlaze in eleven towns – Jaunpur, Faizabad, Jhansi, Haridwar, Mathura, Pantnagar, Roorkee, Vrindavan, Saharanpur, Firozabad & Rudrapur.
With this roll out, MTS extends its current MBlaze footprint to 23 towns across UP East & UP West Circles.
MTS has also tied up with Hewlett Packard (HP) – On purchase of an HP laptop, customers can get an MBlaze device for just Rs. 699 additionally, the customers can enjoy data usage of 3GB at just Rs. 444 per month for lifetime.
Using MBlaze dongles and HSD (High Speed Data) compatible handsets, MTS customers can enjoy video streaming, High quality audio/video download and live play back.
Customers can also watch LIVE TV and on demand Video Channels. The customers will get access to a range of News, Entertainment, Sports and Regional channels including ETV Uttar Pradesh.

I am getting constant 250 KB/S to 290 KB/S speed with MTS EVDO here in Mumbai now…..I checked it in bandra,kurla,andheri,parel,navi mumbai etc n 100% satisfied with the evdo speed….i dont know how some users from mumbai are not getting good speed…

compared to mts,bsnl evdo is really good as far as maharashtra and madhya pradesh are concerned.unlimited data and at only 750 rs.average speed is at par 600kbps(bits)-1.5mbps.

Correction it is 10-12 kbps(kilobits) for a 3.1 mbps data card that we get on mts in metros like mumbai and pune.Sorry Sudhakar bhai.

Remember that 8 kbps = 1 KB/s (kbps is kilobits per second and KiloBytes per second.

DUDE SEE ITS NETWORK IN PUNE AND MUMBAI,MOST PATHETIC CASE.THERE IS NETWORK WHILE WE RECHARGE,WHEN WE ACTUALLY USE IT TO DOWNLOAD,THAT TIME THE NETWORK MAGICALLY DISAPPEARS AND GIVES PATHETIC SPEEDS OF 10-12 KBPS.GOOD THAT ITS LICENSE ARE GETTING CANCELLED.

mts has good coverage area and also expanding that’s good but in lucknow at telibagh area speed variation is so much, it’s 50 to 100 kbps and sometimes goes around 150kbps in torrent download, so me not much satisfied with it.

MTS is expanding because they know if Indian Govt failed to reinstate their licenses, it will lead to a political war between two countries as Russian Govt. is also invested in MTS Indian operations.
BTW Bharti Airtel is going to launch BWA (the so called 4G) tomorrow in Kolkata as per reports in a reputed news daily. They invite Kapil Muni (Sibal) for the inauguration. What they think by inviting telecom minister, they will get sympathy and help in throwing new operators out of market? Somebody please file case against Airtel and get their licenses canceled.
