@karann I think You are from Delhi circle, you don’t consider your circle. Compare to pan india wide. I didn’t heard about free incoming while roaming in my circle. correct me if false.

i know that 200 rs minimum recharge for continuing mts connection. Not for MTS-MTS free, this was guaranteed till 2028. Yes according to 1st rule they can disconnect the connection, which was what they said at time of taking connection. Hope u understood my point.
If there is a rule they should do it exactly as stated. Selective use for its own benefit is cheating.
They know MTS-MTS free offer won’t give them any revenue in future. But people have spent a hefty amount as one time charge. Their only aim is to some how nullify the offer stating another rule.
U must understand that not everyone is blessed with big money while 200 is affordable to you, it may not be 2 others. MTS should first show people they are trust worthy. Then only people will have confidence to come into it. Anyway earlier offer of mts free till 2028, was taken by few people only at that time. Why don’t MTS continue this offer to these few who placed, early trust in MTS.
If they are so adamant on following rules why don’t they disconnect connection. But we all know they wont do it. Because even if it is little, still there is revenue for MTS. As for MTS-MTS free no future revenue for MTS, and their enthusiasm for nullifying the offer.
Selective User of Rules, MTS Cant be trusted.

@Raghu
Totally agree with you.
Santu Sovan Mandal May 16, 2011 at 11:18 pm
Look Arjun I think you haven’t understood my statement properly. I’m an electronics & communication engineer & I also know how GSM & CDMA works. I’ve just wanted to tell that mts operates on 800 Mhz frequency which can penetrate walls quite easily compared to 1800 Mhz. Moreover a company gives cheap rates if it has loyal customers. I think you totally misread my comments.
Raghu May 15, 2011 at 10:46 pm
@Santu Sovan Mandal
i am not telling about anything about network of MTS.MTS would not have been under-rated operator had it been GSM i suppose.
rajiev May 15, 2011 at 10:32 pm
agreed!
Avishek Ghosh May 15, 2011 at 9:57 pm
100% agree with ur view…..
Arjun Chandrashekar May 15, 2011 at 9:49 pm
@Santu Sovan Mandal
Santu Your Comment is Unacceptable Coz Even Though The GSM/CDMA are Wireless Technologies They Can Provide Signals I.E. You Will Find Signal Bars On Your Mobile. But In Case Of Transmission Of Data / Voice, Only A Cellsite(BTS/Mobile Network Tower) Cannot Work Without Transmission Media, I.E. Optical Fiber Cable,Base Station Controller,Mobile Switching Centers, Network Servers,PSTN,HLR and VLR are The Main Requirements Of Telecom Industry. If All The Above are Maintained Properly Then Cellular Networks It May Be GSM/CDMA It Will Work Long Last
Santu Sovan Mandal May 15, 2011 at 8:44 pm
If mts were gsm, it would have not such a good network coverage as it would have been operating on 1800 Mhz. And also they wouldn’t have offered such cheap call rates as they wouldn’t have any loyal customer base unlike cdma.
ANIRBAN May 15, 2011 at 3:53 pm
When mts launched this offer it was clearly mentioned that the sim has life time validity and for continues this offer customer has to recharged minimum 200 within six months.It’s a simple criteria man.

I meant 499 rs more was paid for this facility earlier. And if MTS withdraws it, based on newly added stipulations, our earlier paid money will be lost.( missed this detail in earlier post)

oh it’s joke mind blowing joke, but i cant laught bcoz i didnt understand!

MTS Kerala- MTS to MTS free offer is till 2028. customers are send sms for minimum recharge. This is cheating there was no such condition for this offer at the time of taking offer.
They are not saying they will terminate the services. But only take way MTS to MTS free offer. So clearly they want to nullify earlier great offer by adding conditions. 499 rs more for this facility.
My primary numbers can easily by default fulfill these criteria. But there are those whom because of my insistence took mts. Some of them have other operator’s numbers too. So can’t fulfill this new criterion. Tata Indicom doesn’t make changes in offer after it was given.
I think porting to tata indicom is the option then. You can’t add rules later to already given offer. There are many whom who use other operators now thinking of moving to MTS as primary.
But now MTS proved they CANT BE TRUSTED. THEY WILL AGAIN CHANGE CONDITIONS IN FUTURE.

MTS IS THE MOST UNDERRATED OPERATOR IN INDIA AND DOCOMO IS THE MOST OVERRATED
karann May 14, 2011 at 5:40 pm
MTS HAI HI ITNA ACHCHA KI FAN HONA TOH CHAHIYE.. I THINK MTS IS BETTER THEN ANY OPERATOR RIGHT NOW… CHAHE ROAMING ME UNLIMITED FREE INCOMING OFFER HO YA LOCAL ARE ME LOCAL CALL RATES HO YA MTS MBLAZE KI SERVICE HO…EAST OR WEST MTS IS THE BEST.
TIPPU I THINK U USE USE ETISALAT DB.. HA HA HA
ANIRBAN May 14, 2011 at 5:39 pm
Above 10 million customer uses MTS…MIND IT.DON’T COMMENT LIKE A FOOL.
raju May 14, 2011 at 5:16 pm
In TataIndicom, LOCAL STV 101 for One Year.
The benefit is of course 1/2p PER SECOND. Just 6/-more than MTS. But given the Indicom’s dependable signal strength, this is no big expense for a year, one may agree.
By the way, one request:
I recall, when MNP was launched, one website gave instant-comparison features of all Tele players , of all states based on our option ie clicking LOCAL or STD or SMS or GPRS (and it furnished a comparison-chart instantly, statewise, both pre&postpaid.)
Could anyone give its address? Thanks.
Tippu May 14, 2011 at 4:19 pm
@Avishek Ghosh
In earth itself. I think you are a big fan of MTS.
Santu Sovan Mandal May 14, 2011 at 3:29 pm
@ravi shekhar
Yes, I do agree with you in some of your points. For me, std calling comes cheapest with docomo. So, those who make most std calls should opt for docomo. But for local calling I would prefer mts to docomo. Docomo may have 30p/min call rate but it’s network is the worst. Network of mts is way ahead of docomo. I’m yet to find a place in west bengal(except sunderban and bakkhali a year ago) where mts network is nil. I think most of mts users will agree with me.
ravi shekhar May 14, 2011 at 2:55 pm
Tata docomo is better option for both local and std calling without any power.You can make calls to any number in india at an effective rate of 30p/min.Use double talktime recharge of rs.301(spcl rchrge),which gives rs.300 in main a/c and rs.300 as spl bal(should be consumed within 30 days). It means if you spend more than rs.150 per month on mobile phone and ur frnds n relatives are on different networks(anywhere in india),then this is the best offer for u. Additionaly u can use spl bal for GPRS or SMS packs.
Udayan May 14, 2011 at 2:44 pm
@SOURAV CHATTEJEE
Its Rs. 95/month and it is better than this one..
Just because all the calls are not supposed to be of one minute duration..Its 1p/2 sec which makes it far more better..I have to make some short duration calls which is very much helpful by that Rs. 95 STV…
SOURAV CHATTEJEE May 14, 2011 at 2:38 pm
1p/2sec plan is better than this one…..i think….rs 99 for 365 days…
Avishek Ghosh May 14, 2011 at 2:02 pm
Where?
In moon or Sun????
Raghu May 14, 2011 at 12:50 pm
now it is high time the operator launch 25p/min on all std calls that will be an excellent offer.
Raghu May 14, 2011 at 12:37 pm

KOUSHIK May 14, 2011 at 11:49 am
MTS NETWORK VERY BAD..THERE IS NO COVERAGE …
Avishek Ghosh May 14, 2011 at 10:58 am
Just study the total number of MTS users in India…then u will know that how many people uses MTS….
@Anirban
Thanks for this news on TT…
BTW the number for sending sms(migrating frm psb to pmb) is not correct…pls correct it…it is 52630
Santu Sovan Mandal May 14, 2011 at 10:55 am
In local call segment mts is the cheapest. But as a mts customer I want two things. 1. Std call rate being cheaper like docomo. 2. National roaming rate being a lot cheaper.
TD May 14, 2011 at 10:50 am
Wow….thats good one, i have a extra mts, then i should recharge it with 74
Raghu May 14, 2011 at 10:48 am
