MTNL new plan per second billing is top fevrate paln, but on roaming it very costly pl. rectify for on roaming same as home plan.
vinay December 7, 2009 at 9:05 pm
mtnl plan of 19 ps/min on net, 49 ps to others – plan is also good. but cost of voucher is too high with rs 108/- (tt is also less 22 m) n that also for validity of 6 m only. not even 1 year.
mtnl plz increase validity in 108 bonus coupon to 1 year at least.
vinay December 7, 2009 at 7:55 pm
agreed with emad. its universal problem with all operators. once i had problem with voda. they deducted rental of caller tune, inspite of not selecting any of songs. but as i got the msg of ct activation, i fought it out with cc n got it back on the same day.
tri shud set up grievance cell on this problems.
mandeep December 7, 2009 at 5:29 pm
can anyone tell me what are the roaming tariff in MTNL pay per second plan ? Are the incoming rates also per second payable ??
Emad December 7, 2009 at 9:01 am
@firstonnet
bsnl and mtnl should launch unlimited internet on landline at Rs.100 rental with 56 or 128 kbps speed and default netone plans net pulse should be 5 or 4 paisa per minute and and net call to 172222 should be toll free and call charges should be on per second basis one paisa per sec all std and local
Emad December 7, 2009 at 8:44 am
@Saptarshi Roy
idea cellular is trying to make money by their stupidity system. it is hard to deactivate GPRS1 plan the whole idea VAS system which is based on linux very slow
they forcely activate services like valantine day alerts and cricket alert and krishi alert bla bla and they vanish your all balance when you recharge and not shown as minus balance before. when u ask to cc about it cc says this service is activated from your and to deactivate
create a msg XYZXYZ and send it to xxxxx number at Rs. 3
however no guarantee that service deactivated by it or not
i think idea cellular will surely flop
idea restricted all tarriff and full talktime vouchers on pay per sec plan
and you cannot make call if your balance is not more than 60 paisa
really bullshit
vinay December 7, 2009 at 12:57 am
@ firstonnet.
mtnl needs to revamp its landline services in the age of reduced mobile tariffs, when ppl can talk in less than 50 ps /min, n with full talk value.
at present, minimum L/L bill of 180 with no free calls. or 150 only incoming – too high rentals.
suggestion: at the most REPEAT at the most rental of 50 rs/month. (they had 99 rs only incoming) n the call charges of 1 rs/ 5 min to any network landline/mobile. (earlier pulse was unltd, then of 5 min then of 3 min.). so pulse of 5 min to any local calls n pulse of 3 min to any std calls vl b good one.
broadband rates r quite good, starting with 199 n unltd with 600 (?), but for common man it shud start with 100. they had good ‘pay as u use’ plan with zero rental.
for iptv, broadband is compulsory but if u dont use net, then iptv is costly with b/b rental. gv iptv with zero rental b/b.
as far as mobile dolphin is concerned:-
although mtnl is having many billing plans but it doesnt hv good benefits like prepaid stv (like in 49 trump dhamaka, etc., redundant now after per sec pulse, they cud hv allowed jeevansathi billing customers to opt for ‘STV rental’ of 49 to continue with jeevansathi at the same time allowing 49 p tariff benefit to customers.)
against latest prepaid benefit with 45 stv of per sec pulse, billing customers hv to shell out 149/month. too high. no one vl remain in billing, this way.

Rilence give 500 daily N/L sms free with 1rs rental……
No oprator give such amount of sms

@Saptarshi Roy
Reliance & Aircel best and cheap gprs provider
Saptarshi Roy December 6, 2009 at 4:12 pm
@emad
2p/kb = Rs. 20.48/mb which is exceedingly costly. I don’t understand why Idea cellular has not decreased their GPRS tariff when other operators have kept it to 10p/10kb which makes Rs. 10.24 per 1 mb. Their VAS charges are also high, i.e, Rs. 6.99/minute. Do they want to stay out of the competition?
emad December 6, 2009 at 3:28 pm
idea gprs charges are 2 paisa per kb matlab 20 rupees per mb if u subscribe plan GPRS1 plan at the daily rental of 1 than the rate of 1 paisa per kb applice rupee worst ever
tata docomo and tata indicom 1 paisa per kb or 10 paisa per 10 kb
= 10 RUPEES PER MB
((((reliance rocks)))) mtnl ke trigger se sab dher ho gaye reliance ko chhor kar
Reliance is ahead 50 paisa per mb

everybody talking of reduced tariff for mobile. i think landline has been given step motherly treatment. reduce landline rates also.
in ind conditions, of load shedding, landline is better alternative to mobile which needs to b charged frequently.
vinay December 5, 2009 at 4:03 pm
mtnl shows video calls to other n/w at 1ps/sec. but can video calls b received by other operators when others dont hv 3g right now? how can airtel/rel customers can receive vid calls?
Abhijit December 5, 2009 at 3:50 pm
Now when Mtnl is going to reducing the roaming rates as it’s big bro Bsnl has all ready reduced the roaming rates…
Rohan December 5, 2009 at 1:14 am
MTNL best choice ! but need more comparative strategy for example sms plan which is expensive compared to reliance offer , On net call charges should be lowered flat to 1 paise /min this way we can see MTNL devastating effect on all operators in Mumbai .MTNL will be every common man mobile
Rohan December 5, 2009 at 1:07 am
MTNL JAI HO ! just improve your network quality coverage in suburban area you will be best one !
sreejith December 4, 2009 at 9:39 pm
we hope that bsnl will come up what mtnl had done in 1/2 paise per second includi ng 3G.In kerala 3g have been not launged.eagerly waiting for that.
Sanjay Bafna December 4, 2009 at 7:49 pm
MTNL already reduced tariff for Garuda CDMA under plan 399 Unlimited where all MTNL Network calls are Free Unlimited and other network calls at 35 paisa.
manish December 4, 2009 at 5:14 pm
Really unexpected plan from mtnl, very good for TRUMP, DOLPHIN & 3G CUSTOMER.
but what about GARUDA & LANDLINE CUSTOMER ???
will mtnl also bring such unexpected plan for them ?
kaushik December 4, 2009 at 4:59 pm
vodafone giving full talktime on RC 333 in kolkata for its Per second pay customers
RDB December 4, 2009 at 4:58 pm
bsnl watch and learn from ur brother !!
Tagore Varma December 4, 2009 at 4:50 pm
In contrast, the BSNL is competing with Airtel and Vodafone in looting customers everywhere with its high tariffs like 1.2 per second and no-full talk time offers.
firstonnet December 4, 2009 at 4:25 pm
Unexpected plan from MTNL who having only 2 circles licensing area but offered great than any other operators.
MTNL is best hai Mumbai ke liye. Full talktime on above Rs 100, 125 pe 140, 750 pe 900, 2200 pe 3200, Rs30 mein 500 STD & Local SMS free, 10p/min group calling Rs 30/monthly rental. Soon they are going to offer DOUBLE Talktime above Rs 300 RV.
Please keep watch on Telecom Talk
firstonnet December 4, 2009 at 4:20 pm
Finally MTNL shown that except us no one can offer affordable rate in telecom 2G & 3G market. Great job. keep up…
firstonnet December 4, 2009 at 4:18 pm
Please wait & watch it’s in process you will get it soon after the approval from BSNL Corporate office.
S Sam December 4, 2009 at 2:38 pm
Why MTNL is not offering cheap roaming rates like Reliance did…
If they offer Roaming incoming/outgoing also as their pay per sec scheme, they will be the champions…
Emad December 4, 2009 at 1:53 pm
hmmmm
kash mtnl poore country mein hota
oh! bsnlians do something and follow mtnl
otherwise bsnl is near death
and taking last breath
Rohit December 4, 2009 at 1:45 pm
So u guys suggest to take MTNL in Delhi over any other Cellular Service Provider.
Merc December 4, 2009 at 1:40 pm
BSNL management is still filled by Govt IAS cadre. they are not employees of BSNL, they still work in the interest of Telecom ministry and don’t want to be give competition to Private operators. If the management were to be BSNL employees, they would have given immense competition to private operators.
I remember BSNL management selling the leased lines to Sify at dead cheap rates, when compared to direct customers who approached them. Sify made a lot of profit in reselling those leased lines.
Webly December 4, 2009 at 12:30 pm
@Agnivo
I agree, Bsnl doesn’t give any offers.
Dipankar December 4, 2009 at 12:29 pm
khuda jaane…
Agnivo December 4, 2009 at 12:15 pm
Even though MTNL operates in 2 circles, it looks way ahead of BSNL. Good plan… market listed PSU does it… and BSNL? kaun jaane…
Dipankar December 4, 2009 at 12:13 pm
What a Joke ?
MTNL Triggers all other operators, they cant go beyond Delhi & Mumbai and they will be last in telecom position in India no matter hoe cheap tariff they are giving.
In case of Video Calling its simply monopoly since private operators still to get licence for 3G
Fahad December 4, 2009 at 12:04 pm
better hai mnp k date ki baat he na kare….ab pata naì kitna delaý aúr hò jäýê

Fahad December 4, 2009 at 11:54 am
