Exclusive: MTNL To Revise All Broadband Plans, Now Minimum 512 Kbps Speed on Broadband From this Republic Day

Finally here is a great news for Broadband Subscribers in Mumbai and Delhi, India’s 2nd largest Broadband Service provider Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd (MTNL) all set to Say Bye Bye to 256 Kbps speed on Broadband from this Republic Day i.e 26th Janurary 2012.

TelecomTalk's exclusive sources confirms that MTNL is going to upgrade the speed of all its existing Unlimited Broadband plans (256 Kbps/320 Kbps) to a minimum of 512 Kbps, without any additional cost in Mumbai and Delhi both circles from 26 January.




Currently, existing MTNL Broadband customers who are using Truly Unlimited broadband plan without any Fair Usage Policy (FUP) with 256 Kbps and 320 Kbps speed would have their plans upgraded to a minimum speed of 512 Kbps, while those on 512 Kbps and some other plans would have to get more speed from their current plan.
