This plan will be useful only to check you data usage daily on MTNL portal, not for browsing the internet!

Why only MTNL,Why not BSNL!!!!!!!!!
Jitendra February 20, 2012 at 2:11 pm
Please procure your own Modem
Jitendra February 20, 2012 at 2:06 pm
@winny
Why are you not comparing with MTNL Mumbai unlimited broadband plan which starts from Rs 395 onwards.
winny February 19, 2012 at 10:54 pm
@nishikant :: You’re right.
50MB – per month
after free usage 20 paisa per MB.
If you use more (20 paisa x 5 = 1 rupee) SO we can download 5 MB’s per 1 Rupee.
If you download one MOVIE 700 MB (700/5) = 140 Rupee
If you use 2 GB per Month means (2048 MB/5) = 409.6 Rupee.
And Now Just Compare this with Other plans and Your Usage needs.

Very easy, affordable & suitable plan for home users, low data users.
Unexpected & amazing
nishikant February 19, 2012 at 9:06 pm
An average internet user uses 2 gb of data just to surf which will cost almost 400 rs per month…
and 25 mb will get used within 2 mins of downloading………So BEWARE!!!!!
RDB February 19, 2012 at 2:48 pm
@Ravi Shekhar
based on population other development index!
Pankaj February 19, 2012 at 2:29 pm

I think people who are commenting n comparing this plan with regular or heavy data usage plan are really mad !
mtnl clearly says this plan is for casual internet users and for heavy data users thy have unlimited plans starting from Rs395, Xpress Broadband 2Mbps plan staring from Rs600 , Bill Cap plans and many other plans are there than why you r comparing or taking this plan as regular or heavy data usage plan ?
Why people ? see Mtnl is trying hard to provide affordable broadband with innovative product offerings, check all recent updates on TT. so apt preciate it, compare it with other ISPs who are providing Broadband service in mumbai n delhi.

A great plan for casual users who either have a connection at work or for senior citizens just to chat or send emails to their children staying away. Even the overage charges are reasonable. Good show MTNL

Wow man.. thats really fantastic !!!!
Sushil Modi February 18, 2012 at 10:06 pm
People who want more data can opt other plans, mtnl offering true unlimited 512 Kbps plan for Rs395, 2mbps Xpress Unlimited plan just for Rs600 and many more just check broadband and mtnl categories on TelecomTalk.
Firstonnet February 18, 2012 at 9:29 pm
Nice offer but Free Data Usage is very less they need to offer minimum 5GB/month to attract more users towards MTNL Mumbai total cost for MTNL Landline users would be Monthly LL Rent+ Rs 50(Optional for Modem)+ Rs 25 BB Rent +Service taxes= for 50mb not acceptable, please suggest them to increase the Free data usage upto 3GB

If BSNL has earlier brought this plan, I would not have cancelled their connection even with the sh!tty speed and frequent disconnection, just because of hope that they may improve in a year or two…
Further this one is good for medium and rare users where it costs just Rs200 per GB…
Jack February 18, 2012 at 8:46 pm
Nice plan…at least they come with something different…
XEON February 18, 2012 at 8:45 pm

@RDB: On what basis telecom circles are classified as A,B or C ???
bharath February 18, 2012 at 8:12 pm
lol.. 50mb is enough for 10 min for me..
RDB February 18, 2012 at 8:09 pm
@Vivek Mittal
man it is true! and this is targeted to the people who seldom use internet. for Rs 300 for a year and 50 MB/month + Rs 50/month for modem rental it is a killer deal to attract customers!
frankly bsnl has to bring such plans in category C type circles to increase broadband penetration.
anshu February 18, 2012 at 7:54 pm
wtf only 50mb, i can consume 50mb in 5 minutes.
I use tata docomo 2g internet and i am able to consume 2.5gb in only 2 weeks.
Kishore February 18, 2012 at 7:49 pm
No big deal. For 5 GBs it’s gonna be 1000/. Am good with Airtel which gives 12 GB at 1000….
Vivek Mittal February 18, 2012 at 7:48 pm
Is it true or just a joke. Unbeliveable… Cann’t be true. This is just a prank on us by telecomtalk.info.
Truth will be out in few days. Surely there is some kind of catch in this news and in this offer.
hj91 February 18, 2012 at 7:34 pm
wtf! i think its a rumour. no company can afford such rates. why cant bsnl do something like this?
Shrinath S February 18, 2012 at 7:27 pm
That’s great.. BSNL also should Start giving such plans..
Arjun February 18, 2012 at 7:23 pm
Good Move.
