MTNL To Offer 2 Mbps Broadband Connection at Just Rs.25 Per Month

In a bid to provide affordable Broadband service to every home, India's 2nd largest Broadband service provider Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd (MTNL) all set to launch exciting new High Speed 2 Mbps Broadband plan at effective cost of just Rs.25 per month.

According to our exclusive sources, MTNL will launch this low cost high speed broadband plan on Monday, 20 February 2012. This new plan will cost Rs.300 for 12 month's (one year) Broadband access with speed up to 2 Mbps (effective cost Rs.25/month) with free usage of 50 MB per month (total 600 MB data usage). Beyond free usage data charges will be as low as 20 paisa per MB.




The new plan is specially tailored for all casual Internet users. All existing MTNL landline customers can opt this plan to access Broadband at affordable price point. However, customer is required to pay monthly Rs.50 towards modem charges if MTNL ADSL Modem opted.
