MTNL Redefines Broadband Speed, Launches 11 New Plans With 1Mbps to 8Mbps Speed

Mumbai’s largest Broadband Service provider Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd (MTNL) today redefined its Broadband service and increases the minimum speed of Broadband to 1Mbps from exiting 512 Kbps with the launch of new Broadband Plans with 1Mbps, 2Mbps and 8Mbps speed segment.

Now all new customers subscribing MTNL Broadband ADSL service in Mumbai will get minimum 1Mbps downloading speed and more across all plans. Also all the existing customers with old plans can conveniently migrate to higher speed plans and enjoy the downloading speed of up to 1Mbps and more by dialing 1500 from their landline phone.

With the launch of all New 11 Broadband plans with 1Mbps, 2Mbps and 8Mbps speed over its existing ADSL+ Broadband service in Mumbai, MTNL closed or withdrawn all existing plans with 512 Kbps speed for new customers, however existing customers can continue with old plans if they desired.

MTNL's True Unlimited 1Mbps Broadband plans comes for Rs.550 (non- combo) and Rs.650 (combo - Rent Free Landline + Broadband) which provides 1Mbps downloading speed 7AM to 7PM and 1.5Mbps from 7PM to 7AM.

MTNL Mumbai's 2Mbps Xpress Broadband Plans starts from Rs.699 and 8Mbps Plans priced at Rs.1050 onwards.

Upload Speed across all plans will be 512Kbps as of now, MTNL will increase upload speed to 752Kbps to 1Mbps in coming days for all customers under its ADSL+ Broadband service.
