Rohan :Dowload speed on CDMA is is about 16 kbps , its best for browsing and small download and streaming .

The download speed is 144 kbps ie 18 KBps. And that is the speed which has been used before launch of 3G and EVDO. This is good for all those who don’t want to pay exorbitent rate in case of 3G and have limited budget.

Do not move to docomo unless u got full signal inside your home,if you got one or two signal points are shown you will get disconnected in between the calls in tata docomo network., If you complain also there wont be any change, the huwei people come to your home will check the signals and thats it you wont hear anything from them.Be carefull in choosing the network, the plans might be attractive but the service of docomo is not up to the standards. I had a chat with the huwei people they said this network is using very cheap euipments and remember they had spectrum at very cheap price compare to other operators , and imagine kind of network they have now always fluatuating.

Lol!!! this should be provided for free bcoz……..no one is going to use an internet connection that takes 1hr to download 1 mp3 song” our 5 min to open a single web page”.those days are gone now its a time to enjoy 3G/4G network………..mtnl call your great grandpa to use this cdma 1x

    HA HA HA
hold on bro but tell such things to private operators like tata and reliance who are selling their tooo slow 1x inernet at the cost of Rs. 2 per MB only 100 kbps speed and 1O kb/ps download speed
What the hell is if MTNL is providing it as cheap as cheap as Rs. 75 unlimited
this is what the real price should be for 1x internet which is slower than gprs but good for stable connectivity and less congested network becoz cdma have no huge internet user base due to costly plans and lack of cdma handsets and cdma modems unavailability in market ???

Another point is, there are people in a bit suburb/rural areas, who want wireless net but there is no 3G/ EVDO Coverage in those areas. For those areas, 1X does the needful.

    I agree!

Now it’s changed to unlimited. Also, Rs. 99 GPRS Plan for Orissa used to give 1 GB earlier but now gives 2 GB. Due to server overloading, BSNL had capped 274 Plan temporarily – this is what BSNL guys had told me.

Yes, BSNLK should follow. Currently, it’s Rs. 250 for Unlimited 1X in home circle and Rs. 350 for Unlimited 1X with roaming for 1 month. It should come down to Rs. 75 and Rs. 150 respectively – to be in sync with MTNL.

BSNL should follow this as soon as possible to convert all reliance and indicom customers into BSNL who harassed by their operators as reliance and tata is harrasing them in the name of mobile internet
it definitely make a revolution an CDMA market as well as GSM segment is already rocking
