MTNL Offers Intercom Facility on Landline with Unlimited Free Calls
Mumbai’s number one Broadband and basic telecom service provider Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd (MTNL) today announced “FREE Society Intercom Service with Unlimited Free Calls with In the Group.”
With this service Existing MTNL landline subscriber can create their Centrex group (minimum 5 members) and enjoy unlimited free callings with in the group. The service will be provided with one additional MTNL landline which comes with Free Intercom facility for group members.
With this offer MTNL also provide one Rent free landline connection for Housing society office with 60 free calls to any network and unlimited Free calls with in the group plus one Rent free only Incoming phone will be provided by MTNL at society’s security gate.
MTNL’s next generation landline subscribers will get all Phone Plus services i.e. CLIP, Call Transfer/Forward, Abbreviated Dialing, Three Party Conferencing, Hot Line and Absentee facility at free of cost

This seems to be ‘OLD WINE IN NEW BOTTLES’ as BSNL (and now MTNL) has been offering ‘unlimited calls’ under its CENTRIX Intercom scheme.
But now the same for home customers also.
This scheme was already launched in mTNL Delhi more than 5 years ago.. But a Drawback.. You have to take new connections or your landline number will changed!!
Niddish,5 year old Centrex facility of Delhi is different from this New service with free intercom.The landlines number changes was applicable for old exchanges numbers only not for every one as you think.
