I have been trying different service providers but in vain
Now since I was searching the sites and got a well credited answer to my wait thru the site if it materializes.

We are a big family here in Doha, Qatar – the venue of the last Asian Games.
For the last 2 years we have been looking for good calling rates from India so that our dear ones from India can call here.
We have a good Indian population in Qatar especially a lot of mumbaites
It will be good if Qatar can also be included in the reduced call rates.
Our relatives have a higher deposit of more than 32000 per month on the vodafone call account.
If MTNL can provide a good rate then a natural shift can be done to this service.
Our time of talks are extended too as our bills for one month is more than 15000 of average.
This can be taken as a real chart and if Bahrain can be in the reduced category then Qatar is more than developed and a great Indian population is here

Yes it might be because of commercially not launched here in Ulhasnagar area.. now day by day the range of 3G is getting stronger here..
In BSNL card 3G internet get connected but as it is commercially not launched if I send ACT 3G Sms from BSNL mobile it sends reply as “3G Service currently not available in your city after made available it will be activated’
After commercially launch in Ulhasnagar then also problem occurs then I will give you the my MTNL number to resolve the issue..
By the way MTNL 3G range is now available in Kalyan- Dombivali area also and Dolphin 3G range also coming in some parts of Ulhasnagar & Ambernath area as it borders to Kalyan…
Sanjay Bafna July 12, 2010 at 10:40 am
From your above feedback,I guess problem will be at BSNL 3G server of Maharashtra circle or It might be BSNL 3G commercially not launched in that particular area.
If you provide your MTNL Mobile Number, Area Name where u try to access BSNL 3G services from MTNL Number than i can forward that to MTNL Mumbai’s Roaming Department to check “whats the problem”. Email me all the details if you want to resolve the issue.
Thanks!

@ Sanjay Bafna.
How to access MTNL 3G internet while roaming in BSNL 3G network??
When I tried it to access Internet in 3G mode it gives me packet data connection not available and using same setting if I surf in GSM mode then GPRS gets connected while in BSNL network…
But using same settings 3G get connected while in MTNL Mumbai network… So why not getting connected in BSNL 3G then??
Emad July 4, 2010 at 3:56 pm
NOW CALL FACE TO FACE SINGAPORE AT Rs.1 PER MIN
Emad July 4, 2010 at 3:55 pm
WOW MTNL ROCKING
mekalwin T July 4, 2010 at 1:34 pm
one of the great offer from mobile service providers in india
Jitendra July 3, 2010 at 8:13 pm
Need to offer this offer to postpaid subscribers (who are deposited Rs 500 as security to MTNL from long time) who are not activated the ISD facility. If MTNL really wants to achieve the target of Rs 10 to 15 crore revenue in addition as said Respected CMD MTNL Shri Kuldeep Singh speaking on the launch of this best offer then they need to do it ASAP.
Starpco July 3, 2010 at 4:33 pm
@Thapa
hi dear wait and watch mtnl abhi aur bhi offer launch karne wala hai.
Thapa July 3, 2010 at 4:18 pm
MTNL has reduce the european country rates. But wat about the asia call rates mostly i call to nepal. So make the call rates cheap of the SAARCK country also.More then 1 Lakh customer of mumbai are nepliese. so think about it
mekalwin T July 2, 2010 at 4:38 pm
every one is very happy because its best deal on ISD from MTNL.
But as always some people who don’t want to appreciate the good things..so they always just search what is not good !
Roaming charges depends on roaming partner..so if mtnl didnt get any best deal from its roaming partner BSNL than how they can reduced roaming charges??
MTNL got best deal from its ISD call routing partners so they transfer the benefits to customer and it is one of the best thing.
mekalwin T July 2, 2010 at 4:31 pm
for your information mumbai’s oldest gsm operator Loop/BPL mobile also charging the same roaming rates. Small operator will not able to reduced roaming charges when their roaming partner not agree to cut call routing charges.
PDNair July 2, 2010 at 4:01 pm
Media, print/electronic go on hammering the new ISD rate of Re1/- continually but nobody is expressing surprising an Indian residing India has to shell out R.50 for calls within india (for that matter even at a distance of 500 meters 1)
God forgive all
MaNoJ July 2, 2010 at 10:35 am
@Sanjay Bafna
Thanks Sanjay for clarification.
Sanjay Bafna July 2, 2010 at 10:33 am
MTNL Mumbai already did that just check our this news http://telecomtalk.info/mtnl-upgrades-2g-customers-to-gen-next/30180/
and I dont think there is any confusion between any offers from MTNL Mumbai because all offers/STVs are applicable to 2G and 3G accept 2G GPRS Plans.
MTNL’s 2G GPRS plans users are not upgraded to 3G data service because benefits of their 2G GPRS plan will be lost or affected if MTNL upgrade them without their consent; however MTNL provide Video Calling service to them.
So no confusion at all !
MaNoJ July 2, 2010 at 9:20 am
MTNL should upgrade all existing 2G customer to 3G like MTNL Delhi, Because it prevent the confusion between 2G offers and 3G offers. Many users might be confused regarding offers.
Anirban Mukherjee July 2, 2010 at 8:56 am
Really they think about their customer which is really very rare in this era.
TRAI should pressurized other private telcos to do it.
DR THOMAS MATHAI July 1, 2010 at 10:48 pm
YOU HAVE TAKEN A WISE AND TIMELY DECISION. YOU SHOULD HAVE INCLUDED UK IN RS.1 PER MINUTE AND ALSO GULF COUNTRIES WITH RS.3 PER MINUTES ESPECIALLY UAE KUWAIT, OMAN, SAUDI ARABIA AND QATAR. THIS WOULD HAVE FETCHED YOU FURTHER INCREASE IN THE REVENUE MORE THAN THE EXPECTATION OF MTNL. PL TAKE THIS SUGGESTION SERIOUSLY.

@Sanjay.. didnt notice it in your news. thanks for the info.
Nidish Vashistha July 1, 2010 at 8:31 pm
Amazing.. Now this gift for Mumbaikars too! Thanks to Telecom Talk as this news alerted me earlier & i avoided to buy a VOIP card! Earlier VOIP-VOice over Internet Telephony was the only method to call ISD as low as Re.1 But this move by MTNL has seriously affeected the Business!
VOIP has no Mobility & the user has to Own a PC with Broadband! Sometimes we have to adjust microphones & Headphones this makes VOIP calling cumbersome.. Now use your own Mobile to make ISD calls!
This move will Improve more Import-Export Business,Parents can in touch constantly with their wards studying abroad!
MTNL hai toh sahi hai!
Firstonnet July 1, 2010 at 7:52 pm
Now they need to think for 1p/sms offer for 90days as trial period in nominal charges after response they are free to discontinue or continue. Currently they are not offering 1p/sms & in Roaming per sec plan, if they offered such pl;ans for trial period of 90days after few days everyone would be find MTNL subscribers in JK, MP, Panjab, UP East UP west etc in all state of India, Just need to take risk or tie up with BSNL. Today MTNL is the best among all the operators, MTNL hav each & every plan which are offered by pvt operators with hidden conditions but MTNL offered it with declaration or with open conditions in written.SO only MTNL is the best among all telecom company of India.
Abhijit July 1, 2010 at 7:44 pm
But when reducing the roaming charges while roaming in our Own Country?? Still MTNL takes Rs.1.50/min for Std calls while we are roaming in other circles in our own India!!!
Other operators takes 0.50ps or 0.60ps or 0.70ps or 0.80ps/min(operator wise roaming rates changes) but MTNL is only operator taking now Rs.1.50/min for calls made from roaming(i.e other circles)!!!
So MTNL please give first Whole India roaming at 1ps/sec or 0.50ps/min like BSNL first….
Jitendra July 1, 2010 at 7:05 pm
I paid to call Bahrain Rs. 9.20/min & talk long on daily basis.I know how money deduct from my prepaid account if you talk only just 10mins. Now i can enjoy it more with ISD slashed rates really unexpected offer from MTNL Mumbai team. MTNL is really great, they always look forward in positive manner & without any hidden charges or conditions. Absolutely amazing no words to explain such happiness. Really great………..
Jitendra July 1, 2010 at 6:59 pm

Sanjay Bafna July 1, 2010 at 6:11 pm
The above offer is valid for 90 days as I mention in the news and implemented as by default tariff, no need to buy any pack or els. MTNL may revise the same after 90 days.
Firstonnet July 1, 2010 at 6:06 pm
