State run telecom operator MTNL today said it will launch its 3G services in Mumbai next month,and is targeting a user base of 1,00,000 for the third generation mobile service MTNL Director (Technical) Kuldeep Singh cited in Mumbai on the sidelines of a conference Managed Services India 2009.
The response to MTNL’s 3G services in Delhi has been lukewarm due to limited availability, forcing the company to delay the launch in Mumbai. Under the earlier plans, the Mumbai launch was scheduled for February-April. MTNL now says it will get into aggressive marketing of its 3G services only after achieving satisfactory penetration.
MTNL had already launched its 3G services in Delhi last year. He further said that MTNL would also expand its 3G services to the remaining parts of Delhi in the next two-three months.We will begin aggressive marketing for our 3G services when we would have a good user base and cover major parts of Delhi so this will be after two to three months only at present MTNL offers its 3G Mobile services – Jadoo’ in central and some of parts of South Delhi.

So far 3G hasn’t got a good response be it Delhi or in Chennai it look like people are not interested into 3G service

i think in telecomtalk i can c monthly 4 to 5 posting tht were related to 3g but
were is 3g couple of posting before in telecomtalk i could find tht 3g gonna be stoped for some sec reason and all
