Rohan :First on NETWhy should MTNL wait for other OLD PLAYER when market is open they should wage war first to win if they wanna wait and watch the game and come last , tell me who is gonna loose we its subscriber , for making STD call through reliance i just have to pay 20 Rs for 60 min (per call plan)and whereas 45 with The Dolphin , every single penny counts for we are common man not a millionaires . I like to use Dolphin but when they dont take our proper i have to look for other

Rohan if you are talking about RGSM then every one know the RF network coverage status of Reliance GSM, in our area most of the retailers are refused to sale RV of this company (Easy recharge need to purchase Min. Rs 5000/month)If you switch to prepaid RGSM then you will get RV problem in future & if you are thinking to go with RCDMA then you need to purchase new handset which can’t affrdable to evryone. so I will suggest you stay tune with MTNL trump. Sarkari Company always late but come with better plan with less revenue.

    corection in suggestion.
instead of asking customers to buy spl bonus recharge vouchers, can all the operators devise system that whatever STV charge is deducted from the balance amount available with the customer when he sends sms to activate the spl package.

this vl avoid searching for various STV coupans here n there which may not b available in shops. but the balance amt can b added easily by normal top up cards available from anywhere.

Abhijit :New 3G Sim Kit of Rs.80 with FRC of Rs.29 have above tariffs for lifetime.. but for old customer every 6months Rs.108 bonus card is compulsory for getting above reduced rates.. customer care (9869012345 & 1503) told this fact..

agreed with u. how can mtnl ask old customers to pay more n reduce rates only to new customers. atleast, they can reduce it by taking one time payment n not like every 6 months payment.
mtnl is not yet moving out of sleepyness. poor network. calls r charged even though v dont hear opposite person’s voice. no flexibility in tariff plans. earlier mtnl was cheap but now they r lagging behind others.
sometimes i feel, operators like rel. r bribing them not to improve or rather degrading their technology. else, mtnl has best infrastructure to gv the services.

Rohan :First on Netsince you are taking pains to listen our expectation from MTNL i would just say tell them to bring more affordable plan compared to reliance and tata ,i.e MTNL on net 1 paise per min , 1 paise per SMS & STD rates 30 paise per minute flat , we are not bothered with per second pulse but being a DOLPHIN user we just expect that MTNL should also provide us better option compared to other player so we should have no reason to prefer them .I hope you are listening .Mah frnds have threw away their Vodafone sims for Dolphin but now all are using Reliance for making outgoing calls , I hope you understand how MTNL is loosing their revenue and their subscriber expectations by being late and inert toward competitive market , MTNL network is very good at one place and worst at other , well it can be beared if they give more attractive offers

Rohan I can say wait & watch, you will get what you expect from MTNL, Everyone knows Reliance market status among subscribers, retailers well, Mh Goa network status of TATA GSM everyone knows who are opted Tata gsm. Please mentioned better plans from old players of GSM then we will force for that to MTNL.

Will this affect MyGroup rates? If so then this is useless, if not then, excellent plan. Validity should have been for a year instead of 6 months and remove talktime of Rs 22. Much better would have been Rs 90 voucher, validity 365 days, no talktime, MTNL calls 20 ps, all others 60ps including STD.

Sanjay I think it is a great plan by MTNL, I know it’s really a great because we are paying STD rates for Mh & Goa & it’s really great who have their relatives @ Maharashtra state excl Mumbai & Goa, Great doing MTNL. Now we are eagerly waiting for 1p/sec & unltd gprs (sorry not GPRS MTNL have EDGE services) browsing@ Rs. 90/month & Rs. 14 for 3days which is ready to launch but due to some restrictions they are unable to launch it. Expecting it will be come soon to serve Mumbaikars better. MTNL Always good for us. Best in CC, Best in response, best in transperency.
