MTNL Launches “Name Tune” Service – Greet Your Caller With Your Name !

India’s first 3G Mobile service operator, Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd (MTNL) today announced the launch of its all new ‘Name Tunes’ service which allows MTNL Prepaid and Postpaid mobile customers (2G/3G) to personalize their Caller Tune (Ring Back Tune -Play Tune) with their own name.




Name Tunes is new Value Added Service in CRBT segment that allows subscriber to greet callers with his/her Name & personalized message of their choice from a set your template messages, instead of listening to a traditional Tring-Tring or musical caller tune.

With this, MTNL Mobile customers in Mumbai circle can get their caller tune with their Own NAME by following a simple SMS process that allows them to set their name as their Caller Tune.

How To Activate MTNL Name Tune Service (Mumbai) ?

To avail the “Name Tune” service, MTNL mobile (Trump/Dolphin) customers should send simple SMS NT  Your Name to 56799 (Toll Free). For example if the name is “Sanjay” then Type “NT SANJAY” and send it to 56799. Subscription charges are Rs.25 per month and Name Tune download will be charged for Rs.12 for 30 days.
