MTNL only launches the latest services, but not interested to market it ! as a result large portion of the market is captured by privet companies. but since these Sarkari Babus are happy with what they have,

@Sanjay Bafna
oh, does this mean that this service works directly in the browser and does not need any client to be installed on the phone?
Sanjay Bafna April 23, 2010 at 12:02 pm
Just read the news again,The existing Mobile TV is Application Based TV and works on very few Handsets (most of Nokia Symbian ) which is exists in MTNL and BSNL for 2G and 3G as we all knows including you!
But
The NEW 3G TV is real 3G TV which is first in India as i write and different from existing. It works on IPTV (Internet Protocol Television) feed on MTNL’s 3G service so no need to download any application to watch the TV on mobile phones. Its advanced MPEG 4 technology enable subscribers to view all channels at high resolution and speed.
So both options are totally different !
Thanks

yes, i was just indicating that there is another option for 3G TV. MTNL only provides service in Delhi and Mumbai, BSNL covers rest of India. So for non MTNL subscribers there exists 3G TV too. thanks!
