    @Sudhakar
    Mr. Sudhakar, what do you need a quad-band GSM phone for ? Only the 900 MHz and 1800 MHz bands are used in India for GSM. And this handset is useless in North America because the operators there do not provide R-UIM/CSIM cards for CDMA

    Really nice handset at affordable cost with Triple sim with freebies. Open market approx cost is Rs 3600, so it’s better to get it from MTNL sanchar hat which is really useful for all subscribers to keep one handset at home. CDMA+ GSM+GSM great offer. Thanks & nice efforts MTNL Delhi.

    Guru Series is owned by Samsung but looking at this, I don’t think this piece is from Samsung… Btw company has offered MicroMax products in past. So it may be another one from them or Intex as said by someone.

    But one thing is clear that MTNL management is now aggressive with offering either with 2G/3G or wired broadband or anything else and their sister company BSNL is sleeping and Babus are looting it.

    BSNL is providing services only to get some money and to pay the same their large chunk (approx. 357000) of employees. No upgradation of 2G network and no expansion of 3G network.

    For them, “Jaise hai chalne do”

    None of the dual som and tri sim mobile(s) support quad band GSM (850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900). This is where technology lags behind. Waste.

    Which Company Handset is this?? It Shows Just GURU on it… Now government company Started promoting China Fabricated Handsets!!! What about Radiation & SAR values??And Whether CDMA is locked to only MTNL or not?? Triple Sim Means Triple chances of Radiation… If included Branded Company’s Dual(GSM+CDMA) phone at Discounted Rate than market rates then it would be better…

    I think they are giving Triple Sim handset because if MTNL’s Both CDMA & GSM NW are out of Range in some location then customer can rely on private operator Network on Third Sim!!!;)
