In an attempt to provide enhanced value propositions to the customers, Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd (MTNL) today announced the launch of 2 New Daily Voice Packs which offer cheapest Local and STD callings for its 2G and 3G prepaid subscribers in Delhi circle.
Under extreme competition from the over crowded telecom sector and huge demand of user friendly Mobile Calling Plans, MTNL Daily Local Pack offers local calls to any network 18 paisa/minute (effective cost) while with the Daily STD pack subscriber can make STD calls to anywhere in India for 35 paisa/minute.
MTNL Daily Local Pack comes at Rs.11 and offers 60 minutes of local call usage (any network with in Delhi and NCR) valid for 1 day. While Daily STD Pack priced at Rs.21 provides 60 minutes for STD calls anywhere in India.
Terms of Usage :
- The recharges are available only on Pyro recharge at MTNL Sanchar Haat in Delhi.
- The free minutes (Local or STD) are valid for calls made from Home Circle only and not on roaming.
- There will be no limit on the number of recharges the customer can do at any given time.
- There is NO cumulative usage validity on doing multiple recharges. Only the minutes given on the recharge will be cumulated if the customer does multiple recharge of on the same day.

A very good plan in a bad way… It should be monthly recharge of 100/- or 150/- or 200/-… Please launch it for Mumbai also…

MTNL able to give this type of service because they are in A category circle only. BSNL provide service to all category so BSNL need to balance their C category circle with transferring some benefit of A category circle.

I think MTNL is launching min 1 offer every week whereas BSNL is just opposite taking back even available offers learn something
