India’s first 3G Mobile service operator Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd (MTNL) today announced the launch of new plug-n-play 3G USB Devices (TERACOM 3G HSDPA Data Card) at Rs 1799 for its customers in Mumbai telecom circle.
MTNL’s new 3G Data Card – Teracom LW272 will be available at all Customer Service Centers across Mumbai from 3rd November, 2010 onwards. The operator also offers free data transfers (Download and Upload) up to of 2 GB valid for one month on the purchase of new 3G Data Card with prepaid connection. After Free Usage subscriber can select the any of data plan starts from Rs.99.
MTNL 3G Data Card will enable anytime, anywhere instant High Speed wireless Internet connectivity up to 3.6 MBPS and 7.2 Mbps (depends on device) for laptops and other computing devices, thereby significantly benefiting business users, roamers and travelers.

well in navi mumbai belapur 3g signal drops..on hspda teracom data card.. signal strength is very poor even on windows.

Now MTNL MUMBAI should also reduced there roaming tariffs to 50ps min or 1p/sec as now MTNL Delhi recently launched plan which will reduced call rates to 50ps from BSNL roaming also

MTNL, and for that matter should simply the use of multiple sims using syndrome! ? How many sims/cards one can keep and use to keep them alive. MY SUGGESTION IS that the existing number card should be upgraded with this facility of \PC-USB/cellphone connectivity !

MTNL now reduced its roaming tariff from 10p/10kb to 1p/10kb throught india. It is a good news. Now we can use internet on bsnl 3g at 1rs per mb. This tariff is applicable throught india.

All data cards are locked with their service providers but can unlocked very easily…i did unlocked vodafone
