India’s First 3G Mobile Service provider Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd (MTNL) today Re-launched its Trump All in 1 Paisa 3G Prepaid Plan for its subscribers in Delhi telecom circle.
MTNL’s All in 1 Paisa 3G Plan was introduced in July’2011 as a promotional offer for a limited period and thereafter it has been regularized for new and existing prepaid subscribers. But after the objection by TRAI, the Roaming tariff was changed from 1p/Sec to Standard Roaming charges effective from 26.12.2011.
Now MTNL Delhi re-launched this plan with ‘Original Traiff’ or Uniform tariff for all outgoing and incoming calls (Home and Roam) but reduced the validity period of STVs to 3 months as per TRAI regulations.
“Trump 3G – All in 1 Paisa” prepaid STV comes for Rs.44 offers Pay Per Second tariff for All Local/STD/Roaming (Incoming and Outgoing within MTNL/BSNL Network) Voice and Video Calls to any network across India. The uniform Per Second Tariff will be valid 3 months from the date of activation/recharge.

wait for merger of MTNL with BSNL. Every thing will alright. I think this merger should take place before implementation of telecom policy 2011 as it has provision for one telecom circle.

BSNL’s per second tariff in roaming on MTNL is working properly.
If old per second tariff plan was removed by the order of TRAI on above explanation, then how they relaunched same tariff plan (with reducing validity) on BSNL network ?

@Ashmit Khurana
they had their own network otherwise no private player are offering such kind of service if u select other network and mtnl is not having their own network apart of mumbai and delhi… so in bsnl network they can not offer that plan…

Where is there any TRAI regulation that says telecom operator should not offer 1p/sec roaming? Does that TRAI regulation does not apply on private operators like Tata, Rcom, Idea, Vodafone etc. or PSU BSNL, who offer 1-1.2p/sec roaming for atleast 1yr and even upto lifetime?

I can guess that there is minimum balance condition to use 3G on Vodafone as you wrote.
So, kindly take information about min. balance.
Min. Balance condition for 3G example- State owned BSNL also keeps min. balance of 50/- for using 3G.

I am a MTNL user @ Laxmi Nagar since Dec., 11.
No doubt, its
Tariff is best.
Coverage is excellent.
But, voice transmission over its mobile telephony service is worst from ground floor, 1st floor & roads, even in excellent 3G network.
So, I suggest you, if you want to take, then go for it.
But, keep another operator’s no. (other than Reliance GSM also) always on simultaneously in Delhi.
For data service, you can do blind faith on MTNL, as per my experience.

Uniform tariff with 2G is also available on BSNL with 2 tariff vouchers-
1) Per second plan (Home & Roaming)-
Local & STD call to BSNL network- 1P/S
Local & STD call to other network- 1.2P/S
All incoming- 1P/S
2) Per minute plan (Home & Roaming)-
Local & STD call to BSNL network- 49P/Min.
Local & STD call to Other network- 59P/Min.
All incoming- 49P/Min.
SMS charges- I have forgotten, but it is in the range of 49P- 80 Pon above plans.
SMS pack is also working roaming.
Here, Roaming means National roaming in MTNL & BSNL network

@barun (delhi)
what an excellent offer. why pvt operators do not offer these.
barun (delhi) March 12, 2012 at 1:35 pm
Good one. Also we should switch in MTNL. Because It’s having better network coverage with best tariff rather then other operator.
Gowrishankar March 12, 2012 at 12:39 pm
nice offer but we need this in bsnl too.
