Clear dialtone is not there hence net gets disconnected offen and you keep on complaining , response is poor.
From 27th oct till today its 6th nov. No dialtone, complaint is registered no. Is 430 and reminders also do not work.

I had took MTNL Broadband connection in Nov 2011 and i lodged my first official complaint for broadband not working in Oct 2013.
My broadband didn’t even troubled me once for 23 months since booked.
And i do not even switch off my wi-fi modem unless im going out for more than 3-4 days, otherwise its always ON 24/7/365.
Before that i also had Airtel, and it used to go ofline every 3-4 weeks.
Truly satisfied with MTNL Services, Strongly Recommended.

I doubt they would get any new customers. I think those people who are already using it may switch to one of these plans. I had an Mtnl adsl connection which worked fine for 3-4 months but one fine day it broke down and after hundreds of complaints for 2 months no one ever turned up to resolve the problem. My phone went dead and Mtnl didint care to do anything about it.

Mtnl is dead to say the least. It is stupid to expect Mtnl connection to work, prices are a secondary thing.

Cool man. Lodge a new complaint about your problem in pgportal.gov.in
Choose ‘department of Telecommunications’ as the department and fill up the form* and the nature of the complaint.
      * valid contact number is a must

You will surely get a response within 7 days.

I am not supporting any operator. Just giving you the idea.

I am from Maharashtra-Goa Telecom Circle. I want to buy a Wireless Internet Connection. Which Wireless Operator provides good Internet Speed & Lowest Tariff Plans.

I am using Reliance Thunder 1099.. Always slow speed with high latency during day time. Good speed only after 11 pm and in the morning till 9am. After that speed is low as 80-150 Kbps (bandwidth) in a 4Mbps connection.. I made a mistake surrendering my BSNL Broadband.
Reliance very well knows the fact customer will not be able to download much with that slow speed and so no FUP. Reliance is cheating the customers.

Ask about the upload speed. It will be 1/4th speed of download speed.

If the download speed is 2 Mbps UL, then the upload speed will be 512 Kbps !!!.

But in BSNL (plans 1 Mbps or more) the upload speed is 768 Kbps !!!.

In MTNL, the upload speed is less in Rs.620 plans.

What plan are you using in BSNL?.
I am using BBG home combo ULD 900 plan.

So you are saying that it is safe to be with BSNL (eventhough the tariff is high). Right?.

don’t even talk about upload speed in reliance. It should be renamed to reliance narrowband. Poor customer care. They only take request for call back but neither they will solve the issue nor will call u back.

So you are planning to switch back to BSNL broadband. Right?.

BSNL broadband works in my place Tiruchengode (Tamilnadu) for more than 355 days in a year. But I should call the highest official (I have their mobile number) to know the reason why the connection is not working if it is a major fault. The headache comes when the connection does not work.

But I am 95% satisfied with the BSNL broadband.

yes i will switch back to BSNL. I have called reliance care several times. They are just registering complaints and going on extending the date after which it will be solved. You all will be shocked to know that a private operator like reliance is doing this. Very poor service from reliance

    • S.Sudhakar August 6, 2013 6:00 pm, 6:00 PM

The upload speed is 1/4 th download speed in reliance. Waste plans.
