MTNL Delhi Introduces New Per Second 3G Starter Pack -124

Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd (MTNL) today announced the launch of new value for money Prepaid Starter Up Pack for Rs.124 with per Second pulse for prospective mobile subscribers in Delhi circle.

MTNL Starter Pack 124 comes for Rs.124 with Free 3G SIM Card and Plan Voucher (FRC) which provides lot of freebies like FREE 124 minutes of local voice calling benefits to any network phone, Free 124 STD minutes, Free 248 Local +National SMS (124+124) and 124 MB 3G Data usage valid for 30 days from the date of activation.

Local Voice and Video calls to MTNL network (Mobile/Landline) will be 1/2paise per second. Other networks local voice and Video call will cost 1p/sec and STD Voice and Video call charges to all network will be 1.2p/Sec.

This plan comes with tariff validity of 365 days and account validity will be as ‘Life Time – Jeevan Sathi’ plan. After one year the customer will be shifted to Base Plan tariff if not recharged with any plan coupons.

Well, now it seems that mtnl (mumbai) have had a sumptuous dine-deal good enough for burp during the Dessehra! They have unwittingly done away with its most popular FTT of Rs.125. Interestingly they were, in the past, toying with this particular RC now and then by increasing/maintaining the TT level. But now it is done away and introduced a comical RC of Rs.130 with TT of Rs.125; not to mention about other RCs ! Wah ! While Airtel, !dea, etc are having field day with a top up RC as low as Rs.70 offering FTT, the state-owned mtnl planners are coming with innovative (?) MTNL no doubt provides some of the best plans as far as 3G or Calling is concerned. But the worst part is that the 3G is not actually 3G there are so many connectivity issues. For calls they drop every now on then. Airtel charges more but has a service guarantee.

excellent offer by MTNL. Hope BSNL follows Suit. One thing TT have to take up with telecom operators is to offer international SMS at Rs 2.50/sms like MTNL is doing along with Local 0.25 rs/sms in the plan voucher plans atleast.

MTNL is always BIASED toward their mumbai subscribers , they have scraped 1 GB weekely and 250 MB a day packs while this offer is still in Delhi , moreover delhites enjoy much cheaper MTNL data than mumbaikar they have 4500 Rs half yearly plan which give 200 GB and in Mumbai there is no such plan . Do they think mumbaikar have more money to shell out than Delhites or delhites are more poor to afford that ?

Voice quality is worst in Delhi. If you want to buy SIM you will have to visit Sanchar haat becausing retailer is not seel SIM beacause pathetic customer care.

But plan voouchers are allowed for 180 days right ?

No, Plan voucher can be valid for 365 days n more.
