The Prepaid connection comes with inbuilt life time valid ‘Pay Per Second Plan’ whereas Local and STD call charges (Voice and Video) will be ½ paisa/second for MTNL network (Mumbai and Delhi) and calls to all networks any where in India 1p/sec (Voice and Video).

I have just buy MTNL JADOO sim card at just rupees 10 plan. But i have only get 91 rs main balance after recharging FRP 91.

I got two sims. recharged with the FRC 91 included in it. Packet Data Services not activated. Do I have to send an SMS for GPRS/3G activation?
Also, what is the apn for 3g?

The MTNL does’nt care. They still keep Mumbai out of Maharashtra in all aspects. This is going to boomerang on them if not mended soon.
Unfortunately even the pvt operators too charge Rs.1/50 for a call made to MTNL, specifically in Maharashtra.

For your information BSNL has Lifetime plan..
I m using it and best part of BSNL is that it requires just Rs.50 top-up once in every six months.. If we recharge with Rs.50 then from recharge date we get six month validity in Maharashtra circl
And other private operators life time condition is that Rs.200 recharge compulsory in every six month period. And even MTNL also has Rs.100 recharge compulsary in 6 months period..So BSNL is best just Rs.50 recharge in every six months to continue with lifetime..

WOW great offer but they need to add one more point i.e. 200MB 3G surfing free only on mtnl website…. because each & every free bies are offered only onnet then why they not mentioned 3g data usage only on mtnl Mumbai website….LOL. Only useful is Rs 91 main balance other things are useless….. They need to offer Youth plan instead of 1p/sec plan, then something would be more effective. BTW nice effort to sell more sim cards like other operators doing since MNP launch. Limited offer because they need to increase their subscribers before this fiscal year end. How stupid marketing team are! Last 4 days are in hand. DOCOMO offers 2GB gprs, Free 100sms/day on any net.

Many operators already done this, whats new with MTNL.
Just take the advantage of the offer.
By the way instead of launching this kind offer MTNL should launch some offers of its existing customers.

yes you are true.. In Rs.10 use Rs.91 balance then throw it..
As with MTNL you are locked as same like as WLL subscriber who can enjoy the services only Limited to Mumbai circle.. Because outside Mumbai all call charges climb to Rs.1.50/min..
But on other hand all Private operators has option of national roaming with 1ps/sec or 0.50ps/min or 0.60ps/min or 0.70ps/min option..
So who never goes out of Mumbai for them only the MTNL is Best!!

The long time has gone but there is no change in the marketing strategy of both these govt. operator.
Most of offers launched by these two operator became useless because of their poor marketing and poor customer care services as well.
Till date non of private operator launched such offer but still they are on the top because of their SMART marketing and better customer services.
Hope one day BSNL officers understand this truth and work for BSNL and nation truly.

Wish if this plan could be in delhi too , Missing a Good 3G plan is Delhi , DOCOMO is not here , Vodaphone is quite Expensive , Rs 1000 for 2G …

yes,bsnl and mtnl need tonic of modern marketing concept…in maharashtr bsnl launch a new prepaid sim card i.e cug krishi prepaid plan…the sim card was available only for 15 days and most of people don’t about this plan..plan was really good bsnl was giving free sim in which we have to do recharge of rs.109 in which we get 1month validity,400sms,400local minutes to other network,100local minutes to bsnl,1gb data,after finishing free minutes,sms all local and std call and sms at 30p/min and group calling under totally free…only need to recharge rs.109per month and document of 7/12 form of farming

That’s what. Just like BSNL has balanced based tariff, usage based bonus, Free Missed Call Alert – how many common men know these ? BSNL unlike any other operator has a special site for getting GPRS settings but most of my friends say they are unable to get settings as they unaware of this site and even requesting CC is useless, as we all know how useful BSNL CC is.
