Domestic grown handset maker Micromax has announced the availability and price of company’s latest most anticipated smartphone – Canvas HD A116. A116 was confirmed with quad core processor, 1GB RAM and Jelly Bean. With latest hardware Micromax A116 Canvas HD is the first smartphone with quad core processor in budget category.
From today, February 14th Micromax will start taking orders of A116 on its website micromaxinfo.com. This is a part of Micromax’s exclusive strategy to sell the phone online. Micromax said that once you place an order of A116 on its website, it will be shipped in 5 t0 7 days.

anyone heard of samsung phones in 2000? That time people used only nokia.Then samsung has beaten nokia.Now it’s turn of micromax to beat samsung.History repeats..
I think unless the chinese companies that were going to start sales in india,state about warranty, spares and service centers no one is going to buy them.

No need to hurry to buy it as they are taking 21 working days ( near to one month for dispatch) and no cash on delivery option. Means all money can be used for one full month & further where as another competitive mobile make of UMI X2 with less price are coming with full hd option ( 1980 x 1024) & quad-core processors so it will be best option with less price near to 12k with tentative service as on the spot return of 3/6 month approach ( in case of any defect from metro India city branches)

BTW, 14k is such a great price for a 5″ IPS HD quad core mobile.. no one can beat that.. the only thing that most will worry about is the mediatek processor.. they will get consoled when they see HTC, Sony etc. Release phones with this processor which is about to happen in near future..

Not very powerfull processor. This processor will only suffice basic needs like call, text, surfing, dual sim management etc., this is not suitable for 3d gaming and hd videos etc., they should have put the price under 10k
