Loop Mobile Introduces One Paise Per Sec Prepaid Plan

Loop Mobile Introduces One Paise Per Sec Prepaid PlanLoop Mobile today announced the re-launch of its pay per second plan as per the new plan, Loop Mobile customers will be charged one paisa per second for all local and STD calls.

While this offer is applicable to all new and existing prepaid subscribers of Loop Mobile, the existing subscribers can recharge with Rs. 48 to avail this plan.

Commenting on the relaunch of one second plan, Mr. Sandip Basu, Chief Executive Officer, Loop Mobile, said, “We are happy to revive the one second plan for our subscribers to enable them to pay for their actual usage.

To introduce plans that enhance user experience along with providing more value for money has always been in our legacy. Though Loop Mobile had pioneered the concept in 2004 and launched it across circles then, we find the market is more receptive to this offer due to increase in both access and acceptability. We are revisiting the service now and are confident that our customers will widely accept it.”

I am sorry to say that LOOP, such a established and oldest service providers is some where lagging behind in giving a competitive tariffs to its existing and prospective customers and would appear to be slipping in its customer base, while other service providers like Reliance, Air Tel, Tata, Vodafone are progressing leaps and bounds in broadening their customer base.

The very clever SMS message advert by LOOP does not mention a fact that LOOP to Landline on an STD has .02 np per second ( and not .01np per sec ) .
Do I smell a clever game or a total con game? What has LOOP to say to save their skin ???????????????

    @ Sanjay
If u talk about loop & its promo dey don’t waste money on big stars & ads like airtel & other does. Even while launching d dus ka gang scheme der people stand just outside college gates & tht earned dem abt 75% of customer. Even now if u check pay per sec plan of airtel & loop u ll go for loop as it 1p/sec for all & airtel give 1p/sec only airtel 2 airtel for other dey charge 1.2p/sec

why LOOP does not going beyond MUMBAI ?
its now quite a long time that it delaying launch in other circles though they have the spectrum.
Are they wanted to quit telecom business ?
