Just few days back Lava Mobiles has launched its first 5″ phablet Iris 501 with 1GHz dual core processor, 5 mega pixel rear camera, front camera for video chat, 2300mAh battery and it runs on Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich.

It is the best Smartphone at this price. Its does all things that a high end mobiles can do. This phone is giving tough competition to the high priced mobiles with the features it provides at this price. Used all the features and they are working perfectly fine.

Rocking phone.. my friend just bought it and we play games on it all day long.. really this is awesome phone for the price. Y pay extra for the same stuff to MNCs… and features people dont even use!! good job lava.

super smart phone ! its best mob under 10k budget.. amazing battery backup of 2300 mah battery.. even samsung s3 using same battery.. no doubt its mindblowing mobile from LAVA for young pupls..

preeti, it’s not a cdma……… wcdma is stand for Wideband Code Division Multiple Access, it’s a 3rd Gen standard which utilizes one 5 MHz channel for both voice and data.

Is it GSM+GSM/CDMA supporting??? Because on it backside write WCDMA . Is it Open market cdma or Locked. On lava Website they do not mention it in cdma category..??

WCDMA means 3G not CDMA.it doesnot support cdma

WCDMA(Wideband CDMA) means it supports 3g it doesnt mean it has cdma technology…..

@preeti WCDMA means its a 3G phone of GSM technology. the 3G of GSM is usually referred to as WCDMA.

WCDMA is not CDMA, it’s GSM-3G. The phone supports WCDMA/HSPA network.
