    ‘Blockbuster Phoneday’ – a new blockbuster smartphone every Friday.
    Bull shit. Will they be able to release 365 cell phones in a year?? And what about support?? Such pompous announcements take away the credibility of Lava Intl.

      Go for Nokia Ashaseries for that budget…brand=trust=build quality. Asha 311 is good if you can stretch a bit , its available less than 6k. If you want to go for android, I guess there arent many quality phones in that budget and you end up with a frustrating so called smartfeature fone..that is good for nothing(no playstore and FEW apps support, low cpu ) etc.

      Check out the Lava Iris N400. If you’re not particular about 3G, the Karbonn A6

      Micromax, Karbbon, Spice, Lava, Intex etc… all phones are cheap and completely made in china. This companies are names registered in India.

      While I agree these product are value for money and productivity. But in log run all these sucks very much and TT guys are so busy in promoting such cheap Chinese products. They don’t have any clue about how many Android and Windows smart phones were launched by Nokia, Samsung, Sony, HTC in India in recent time.

        I purchased my first Android phone (Samsung Galaxy i5503) around 2½ years, when I felt that I was getting better value than the Nokia phones on offer. Prior to that I had the Sony Ericsson K750i. I also used Nokia phones. In fact my 1st mobile phone was a Nokia.
        I’ve considered/compared several brands from Samsung, LG, Sony and HTC. I feel that all of them are priced on the higher side for the h/w and/or s/w that the mobile has. It is the that I decided to look at other brands. Based on the specs and online/personal feedback I decided to go in for an Android mobile phone (between 4-5 inches from Karbonn or Lava. I decided to specifically avoid the Micromax and Intex brands on the basis of poor customer support. I was to choose from between the Karbonn A21 or Lava Iris 501. The Lava Iris 454 entered the picture solely on account of it’s 4.5 inch qHD IPS display.
        Note: Windows as a phone OS wasn’t considered as at least as far as my mobile phone was concerned, I wanted to exclude Microsoft. Incidentally, HTC is a brand which after bringing out Windows based mobile phones is now lukewarm to the OS.

      iPhone=CHINA
      In fact, all Apple products. The same is true for all major brands.
      In the telecom equipment space, ZTE and Huawei (both Chinese) have almost completely replaced Alcatel, Ericcson and Siemens.
