The recently launched MT6591 hexa-core processor by MediaTek has ushered in a new era of mobile computing with its premium Dual-Cluster/Dual-Active (DCDA) architecture that allows all 6-cores to run at full speed simultaneously. Personifying the re-imagined philosophy of MediaTek’s ‘Everyday Genius’, the chipset also exemplifies technology inclusion of the new global middle class markets. Clocked at speeds of up to 1.5Ghz, the chipset enables chromium browsing experience while running multiple, concurrent and independent applications.

Priced at Rs.16990/-(MOP) for the Karbonn Titanium Hexa, Rs.14490/-(MOP) for the Titanium Octane and Rs.17990/-(MOP) for the Titanium Octane Plus, the devices will be ready for shipping from the last week of April 2014.

When available titaniamm octane red in india.

  • Sudhakar March 20, 2014 1:02 pm

Well said man. True information. Forget about the exchange of the third class mobiles for kitkat. These mobiles are not even worth as a tissue paper and can be exchanged only for a Rs.0.50 chocolate !!!!. LOL LOL. The third class companies like karbonn, g-five, lava, micromax, xolo etc won’t prosper if they do not stop copying the design of the branded company (nokia, samsung, sony, htc etc) in a shameless manner. Anyway sony and nokia must launch mobiles with user replaceable xperia / lumia phones.

    • Sudhakar March 20, 2014 9:49 pm

      Correction :

Anyway sony and nokia must launch mobiles with user replaceable battery in the xperia / lumia phones.

    • durgesh - Mumbai August 23, 2014 1:13 pm

Idiot Micromax is close to overtaking Samsung in India and companies like karbon is providing octa core processors in such a low price.

    • sarvesh - varanasi August 23, 2014 5:31 pm

      does it supports OTG

  • Sudhakar March 20, 2014 11:23 am

All these models do not have :
    > USB OTG
    > quadband 3G support
    > corning gorilla glass display
    > optical image stabilization and optical video stabilization
    > support for more than 32 GB memory card

Third class company, third class models. Hexa model is copied from HTC desire 501 and the octane models are copied from various Sony X peria series.

    VLR Stats-

Its really amazing too see that Idea Cellular overall has crossed 100% active users on its network (pan India) with 101.79 % active users. Ofcourse Idea cellular is very active in deactivating unused numbers and the 1.76% are national (non-Idea) and international inbound roamers on Idea cellular network taking the VLR to its peak.

Second and third position occupied by Bharti and Vodafone, that was known for most of us.

The operators with really “bad” VLR stats are BSNL, MTNL, Videocon, Quadrant, Loop with nearly 50% users inactive on their network. They need to look into this as its the same stats appearing every month.

Docomo, Uninor, Aircel and MTS also have disappointing VLR stats but better than the above operators.

Coming to circles- (% active users)

CIRCLE- OPERATOR SORTED FROM MOST ACTIVE TO LEAST USERS.

    1. Andhra Pradesh- Idea, Airtel, Reliance, Vodafone, Docomo, Telenor, BSNL, Aircel

    2. Assam- Airtel, Vodafone, Idea, Aircel, Reliance, BSNL
    3. Bihar- Idea, Airtel, Reliance, Vodafone, Telenor, Aircel, BSNL, Docomo
    4. Delhi- Idea, Reliance, Vodafone, Airtel, Indicom, Aircel, MTNL, MTS
    5. Gujarat- Idea, Airtel, Vodafone, Reliance, MTS, Telenor, Tata, BSNL, Videocon, Aircel
    6. Haryana- Idea, Reliance, Airtel, Vodafone, Docomo, Videocon ,BSNL, Aircel (FYI- Aircel has only 6% active users in this circle)
    7. HP- Idea, Vodafone, Airtel, Reliance, BSNL, Aircel, Docomo
    8. j&k- Airtel, Idea, Vodafone, Aircel, BSNL, Reliance,
    9. Karnataka- Idea, Airtel, vodafone, Reliance, Docomo, MTS, BSNL, Aircel
    10. Kerela- Aircel(Aircel has shutdown operators here but has 107% active users. You can figure out the reason, its easy), Idea, Airtel, Vodafone, Reliance, Docomo, BSNL, MTS.

    Next list tomorrow! Good night!

@ss : bsnl -ve? can’t really believe that, for my area, coz last day I went to top up my phone and saw 2 long queues for MNP. all customers were avoid, airtel topping the list..! and i must say in kerala (my area) bsnl really jas improved , getting 2Mbos at peak time and 4-6mbps at morning hours, whereas idea giving juz 18kB/s.. ! But in morning its 8Mbps on H+ (bsnl only H)
moreover, bsnl is real cheap and as a student i prefer economy and bsnl has lived uto my expectations!!
best was aircel, rs6, 1/2p/s for 90days!! and internet, 15rs unlimited 2g for 3days! and since no one used aircel, min speed was 20kB/s!!

      • SS March 20, 2014 9:46 am

North India is a place where BSNL suffers from poor infra and customers are porting out from it. BSNL also has the lowest VLR % in many circles. Like UP E, just approx 47%!

    • AIRCEL78688 March 20, 2014 2:34 pm

@ss is quadrant is which operator ? i first time heard this name…. off topic- Aircel pretty good in Mumbai interms of Internet . My Friend watch my internet speed and said ” ye 3G hai kya” ? i said 2G. he surprised with speed. i stopped loop mobile from yesterday . loop Internet speed only in night ok.

  • HARRY HARRISON March 19, 2014 3:27 pm
