Introducing Another Internet Service Provider – Spectranet

While broadband penetration in India is still below the expectation, and BSNL is the only true pan India broadband service provider with widest coverage we like to introduce a little known ISP Spectranet which is offering cable & wireless broadband and WiFi services in Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad & Chandigarh and is extending its footprint to many more cities across India.

Spectranet was rolled out in 2000 but after acquisition by the Shyam Group (of MTS India fame) in 2008, it has evolved into an Integrated Communication Services Provider.

Spectranet’s cable based broadband which does not need any phone or modem comes at a very affordable rate, you can choose any plan which offers bandwidth from 256kbps to 4Mbps. All types of plans – limited, flat rate & night plans are available. All plans are prepaid – so no question of bill shock at the end of month.

Note that Spectranet also has reasonable fair usage policy on unlimited plans with bandwidth more than 256kbps. Details of Spectranet’s FUP

Spectranet also gives away QuickHeal Antivirus to its wireless broadband customers. Wireless broadband plans starting from 256kbps to 2Mbps are available at very affordable rate.Spectranet has its WiFi Hotzones in Delhi NCR, Noida, Guragaon, Faridabad, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad & Gaziabad. @RDB –
I need not correct you, still please note, BSNL is not a PAN INDIA service provider for voice, data, or bb , they have presence ONLY in 20 circles out of 22. If you are counting MTNL too under BSNL, it is a gross mistake for they themselves have separate and independent entity with different management and tariff and other plans ! Both these PSUs have only half-baked roaming arrangements !

    Please correct it.

Finally MTNL Broadband is the best for Mumbaikars, without any conditions & FUP. MTNL BEST Hai Broadband users ke liye

Its look like a local cable operator internet company for e.g Hathway, Siti cable etc, cost are much more than MTNL & their are lots of conditions apply, FUP concern so compare to MTNL its not affordable to Mumbaikars if concern to wired cable. For Mumbai & Delhi tariff plans are different,

I had Spectranet subscription in my university. As the speed was erratic, at times slow. Though there was unlimited plans but speed was way too slow. Moreover the guys of Spectranet were very slow in all the problem resolutions except for monthly charges collection. Moreover, it seemed like the company was franchasing their local operations in the hand of un professional guys. They seldom turned up as their usual one liner was Link has failed. It was costly also.one had to pay a fee of 1000 rupess as installation charges which was non refundable. And moreover the speed was hardly there anytime as was told while installing the facility.
One other very important thing was that one can’t run two systems with the same connection. Finally we had to shift to MTNL which enabled us to share the charges amongst Four Guys as Four system could be oprrated from one Ethernet.

I know about Spectranet. It is a local service provider and gives good service. A lot of person are using it in my building. Tariff is a little more than MTNL and don’t expect that your expenditure will come below rs 500 in any usable plan.

One more that too related to MTS, OMG MTS have u all ever witnessed it customer care and its appointed managers , they are the worst one could have ever seen, The connection provided by them gets disconnected after one or 15days usage on the verification ground inspite of providing them the proper papers.

    Its all like tikona …
