    All these calculations are somewhat wrong.
    These operators selling sim cards like Biscuits in a packet.
    In hyderabad Airtel Docomo aircel selling sim cards free of cost with a frc of apprx. 40-70 with 60-150 talktime…….
    How they can spent that much of money without any income?
    and these are going to break after finishing using of talktime data balance SMSes……
    Thats why always like BSNL, their business always 4m their CSC’s only with no mis use of proofs
    I took lots of sims bcz i hav 2 reduce my monthly phone bill although there is no guarantee of proofs bcz i have no problem No one has a right 2 question…

    The number of subscriber is directly proportional to the 900 Mhz frequency held by operator.

    @h rajpoot I support and echo this point of view of Mr Rajpoot…cheaper call rates and poor coverage, there won’t be any taker barring a few teenagers and young guys madly in love and want to speak over the cell 24×7

    Adil,
    Good question.
    Well said. What about Tata docomo GSM and Reliance GSM?. What does it show?. This itself proved your partiality.

    TATA and Reliance submit data to only AUSPI. Last time they published was in June.

    All the mobile showrooms are giving free sim cards with purchasing new mobile, they put stalls on the roadside and before mobile showrooms..they are selling like fish and vegetables. Buy sim card for 10rs and get talk time of 60 rs. like this type of ads and discount, people are tempted to buy those. So if you check the connection status after talkvalue used. it will be switched off. So they are giving wrong numbers to achieve the market leader position.. They give lots schemes for the retailers. So automatically retailer will use the pushing strategy to sell sim card which is benefit for retailers. this is what happening in the market. people have noticed this… but this plays a vital role for them lead the market.

    @Sudhakar,

    Relax bro, neither the TT favors Airtel nor it’s customers. lol

    GSM Telecom Operators reports their net additions per month to COAI and same data is uploaded in a MS excel file on COAI website. We take the same data and update users here. So this data is not generated by TT. TRAI evaluates this data for accuracy and updates on their website. But you can’t get 100% accurate data on real-time basis. So, stop blaming and enjoy your stay here.

    Those asking for Reliance, Tata Docomo or MTS data refer AUSPI’s website http://www.auspi.in

    Please stop talking in favour of AIRTEL always. It is not a good practice for a tecom news website.
