Idea wins Best Brand Campaign at World Communication Awards

Idea wins Best Brand Campaign at World Communication AwardsIdea has bagged the prestigious Best Brand Campaign at the World Communication Awards 2011 which was held in London recently.

Idea received the recognition for two of its most popular and successful communication campaigns  Break the Language Barrier and No Idea, Get Idea.

Idea’s award winning brand campaign ‘Break the Language Barrier’, highlighted the effective usage of mobile telephony services to overcome language barriers that exist in the Indian multi-lingual society.

The ‘No Idea, Get Idea’ campaign which was also recognized at WCA 2011 offered real-life reasons for switching to Idea’s network, at the time of the launch of Mobile Number Portability (MNP) in India.

Both these campaigns reiterated Idea’s core philosophy of ‘championing’ ideas that have the potential to change lives, albeit within different contexts.

    Idea wins the WORST brand award from its customers for its unethical and anti-consumer policies for treating Mumbai & Maharashtra circle as roaming circles (except for free incoming, all other calls, sms, gprs etc are treated and charged at roaming rates). One cannot get the benefit of any bonus packs (sms, std, gprs etc) when used in and between Mumbai and Maharashtra. Also, its shocking that gprs packs don;t have free national roaming! Which world are these fraudsters living??? These fraud idiots should look around in the market and industry to see which other operator follows Idea’s unethical and anti-consumer policies!!! F**K YOU Idea… I am porting out from you for good!!!

    @novicefreak1

    @NOVICE FREAK … you are co-relating an ADVERTISING CAMPAIGN with COMPANY POLICIES (not to give unlimited GPRS or ROAMING GPRS). Apples2Oranges my friend.

    >> but, having said that, idea needs to first introduce gprs packs applicable even in roaming and remove fup per day basis eg fup of 80mb/day in gprs pack..

    @ DOC VMC… whats the use of “good tariff vouchers” or increased market share when the people who use it would be low-income (low ARPU) customers ???
