IDEA To Offer Amar Chitra Katha On Mobile
To unlock the true potential of the mobile phone to take the medium truly beyond voice and sms, IDEA Cellular the leading pan India GSM Mobile service provider is geared up to launch Amar Chitra Katha on Mobile Phone.
The operator is all set to offer thousands of comic titles from Amar Chitra Katha, a collection of illustrated Indian classics/Comics to its mobile subscribers in association with ACK Media (Amar Chitra Katha Group). While IDEA cellular has already launched a series of Mobile Comics a few days ago on its GPRS portal “Idea Fresh”
IDEA Cellular has tied up with ACK Media, the owners of popular comic book series Amar Chitra Katha, and digital content provider Mogae Digital, which claims to be the single largest owner of intellectual property for mobile comics in India.
Leading GSM Mobile service operator Airtel, Vodafone and Tata DoCoMo already introduced the Mobile Comics service in last few months.
