Having launched its GSM services in the mobile telephony market of Mumbai metro a year ago, IDEA Cellular today announced the lowest tariff for mobile users in the city, offering all STD and Local calls and SMS rates at just 50 paisa per minute, on any mobile or landline network in India.
The special call rate of 50 paisa for STD and Local calls on any network in India will be applicable from the second minute of the first call of the day. Regular tariff will apply for the first minute of the first STD and Local call of the day. Likewise, 50 paisa SMS call rate will also be applicable from the 2nd SMS of the day.
To avail the special tariff benefits, existing IDEA prepaid subscribers can recharge with the new special tariff voucher priced at Rs. 47, and validity of 5 months. New prepaid subscribers of IDEA can avail the reduced call rates on any recharge voucher. This voucher will be available at all retail outlets and My IDEA showrooms, across Mumbai.

I really love aircel its had come at the time when i really needed it.. so i will use Aircel as primary no. and Idea as secondary… And i m going to keep my Docomo aside for lifetime:-D..

one !dea is buy a !dea sim card from mumbai circle with these offers and use it in maharastra circle since !dea is leader in Maharastra and not giving any offers like !dea mumbai circles. Now it is same if one uses sim card of Mumabai OR M&G once roaming is free between these 2 circles

idea is emmerging one of the top operators …. and getting max subs adding % every month…also … idea.. has recently launched …. a low std pack …. in south also

u all know what ??.. I just inserted my Idea sim to check if they have launched it and… and… and YES they have… i dailed 4444 then in IVR chose option 1 then again 1 and then again 1 to listen to their favourite 5 scheme… I am Happy.. now i am going to switch back to IDEA… :-*

I am waiting for Idea to Launch Friends and family scheme in Maharashtra & Goa like in Airtel and Vodafone. My fiance cannot change her Idea no. and she calls me 60ps per minute. and i had to switch to Aircel which is offering the lowest tariffs in Maharashtra. We both could save a lot if Idea provided calling to specific no at 20ps. but it dosent
. I still have my Idea no active just waiting for the day when Idea will think about their Maharashtra and Goa Customers.
