Aditya Birla promoted Idea Cellular, latest entrant in Kolkata wireless market introduces onnet tariff packs – for calling local Idea numbers at a lower price.
Idea entered Kolkata as 11th mobile operator after Vodafone, Airtel, BSNL, Reliance CDMA, Tata Indicom, Reliance GSM, Aircel, Virgin Mobile, MTS India and Tata DoCoMo. So to capture new customers Idea has to offer more compared to others, and they do accordingly, apart from industry’s new norm second pulse, they offer all local@40p/min, lowest on GSM segment in Kolkata & WB.
Within one month of launch Idea comes with two Onnet tariff packs for both type of customers who opt minute pulse or second pulse.
For Minute Pulse users :
get recharge of Rs23 for local I2I calls @25p/min (7AM-11PM) and @15p/min(11PM-7AM), tariff validity 30 days. For second pulse users:
get recharge of Rs24 for local I2I calls @ 1p/2sec(7AM-11PM) and @1p/3s(11PM-7AM), tariff validity 30 days. For Details contact IDEA customer Care: 9088012345

I have prepaid bsnl mobile with pulse 0.49/min. If change the operator and come to idea keeping the number same (number portability) what benefit shall I get? What will be the tariff rate ?

All are good but there are some bad also.They launched value voucher for calling & sms but there are no way to check validity period onscreen. like other circle it is *554#(call vv) & *212*1#(sms vv) & free talktime vv as *212*2#
When will they introduce it????

Idea ka Idea hi bahot weak hai new connection ko logo k pass pouchane ka,agar ishi taraf idea ye sab bakwas plan launch karta raha toh woh din bhi dur nehi jab IDEA k pass koyi new idea launch karneka mauka hi na mile coz tab koyi customer hi nehi rahega.

I got an !dea number but i had to throw it away because the voice quality is very poor and in the indoors network is zero…where as my DoCoMo does well then that…

in Orissa I2I free costs Rs299 for a month – out of reach for most customers !
and they r not newcomers like MTS, idea does not want to be a pioneer in tariffwar, rather they follow it, when required. they stick to better services to attract customers like airtel n vodafone !
