Idea Prepaid Tariff Hike

Idea has increased its prepaid tariffs in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh telecom circle since 7th Sep midnight. The tarrif which was earlier 1 paise per 2 seconds has been increased to 1.2 paisa per 2 seconds.




They are offering 1.2 paisa per 2 seconds to all the new acquisitions post 7th Sep.

dFor all the existing Idea customers, the recharge options of Rs 37 and Rs 68 have been introduced to be able to continue using the 1ps/2sec tariffs, which is revised to 1.2 paisa per 2 seconds. This comparison will help:

Rs 37 recharge voucher - tariff 1.2 paisa per 2 seconds - for 25 days

Rs 68 recharge voucher - tariff 1.2 paisa per 2 seconds - for 75 days

AIRTEL

Rs 37 recharge voucher - tariff 1 paisa per 2 seconds - for 30 days

Rs 65 recharge voucher - tariff 1 paisa per 2 seconds - for 90 days

This comparison shows that Idea is not only more expensive, but also the length of the benefit of 1.2 paisa per second is shorter than its closest competition by 5 days and 15 days respectively for each voucher.
