IDEA’s commitment to offer the best telephony experience for our customers will usher in a new dimension in mobile telephony experience for the people of the state.IDEA Cellular has launched its services in most of the main towns of Tamil Nadu including Coimbatore, Madurai, Trichy, Salem, Tirupur, Erode and Vellore. IDEA’s services in Chennai Metro will be launched soon.IDEA will develop customer service with a robust retail network comprising of exclusive ‘My Idea Stores’, ‘Idea Points’ and other outlets.The Idea cellular also in plans to develop a retail network of over 25,000 retail outlets and 60 Idea showrooms.

Idea is the worst server provider in chennai.customer support also wrost .

idea netsetter is worst in service and in signal.all the idea outlets did not know the huawei service center.

i’m using idea sim, customer service is not good. I was changed the network from bsnl to idea, I am submitted all documents before 45 days, but till now does not activate the network.

Ha dude it has improved a lot. Airtel and vodafone are also good interms of connectivity but internet speed is slow

Now what happened to you mr?? Im using Idea ( ported in from Uninor) from 1 month as my primary number & really satisfied with its services. Before i used to comment in TT regarding poor GPRS speed of Idea in Hubli & Other parts of N karnataka but now from past 15days idea is offering 25KB/S speed in my hometown where it used to be 7KB/SEC. In bangalore also it is offering 26KB/SEC through which i watch live tv in my Nokia E52 without any buffering, Coverage is superb than any operator, Voice clarity has improved and infact now i dont find any difference between Uninor & idea’s clarity, Call rate @ 1/2paise per sec, Daily 100SMS free, EDGE connectivity even in rural areas where Airtel,Vodafone, BSNL offer GPRS connectivity. Im using AIrcel 47 pack too, but it is worst than any other operator, speed never goes beyond 4KB/Sec.

IDEA IS TOTALLY USELESS IN TELECOM INDUSTRY. IF YOU GET IDEA SIGNALS IN ONE PART OF AREA,YOU WILL NOT GET IDEA SIGNALS IN OTHER PART OF THE SAME AREA. USELESS NETWORK
