Idea Cellular today announced the launch of a new STD Pack for its prepaid mobile subscribers in the Southern region states of Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh telecom circle.
As per the new offer, existing and new prepaid subscribers of IDEA can now make STD calls to all mobile and landline networks in the above states, at just 50 paisa per minute.To avail the special STD tariff benefits, Idea prepaid subscriber needs to purchase tariff vouchers priced at Rs.26. The offer is applicable upto first 300 minutes and beyond that the STD charges of their regular plan will be applied.

That what I always say… Idea is an expensive network compared to any other… it is a rule of corporate world that if you are expensive one, you should delivere best in terms of quality.. but unfortunately Idea is an exception to this rule… qualitywise, it is nowhere in the race.. still too much expensive…

foolish offer from !dea,because established player like vodafone giving unlimited 50 paise STD,but new entrant like !dea with STD cap of 300 mins or 5 hours.really ridiculous

Ya.. True.. But i didnt find right place to post info about STD voucher of airtel I had mentioned. And no news about that on this site.. Actually here in M&G, Airtel has introduced 3 brand new vouchers offering cheap local/STD calls.. but no news about single voucher..

Read my post carefully. I have compared Airtel Maharashtra & Goa with other operators in Maharashtra & Goa itself. I know STD is even more cheaper in south states but expensive with Airtel. I have noting to do with that. I have just posted about STD tariff I am getting & I have right to post that.

In M&G, Airtel has launched new voucher, RC 47. It gives 60 minutes of STD to any network with validity of 15 days. So STD call costs at around 78paise/min. So now STD is at its cheapest in M&G circle with Airtel as other companies are still sticking with 1Re/min or 75p/min with daily or monthly rental.

AIRTEL is the most cheating company as it does not provide 50 paise STD in SOUTH INDIA, soon AIRTEL will loose many customers

IDEA is cheating its customers as :
(a) VODAFONE offers STD @ 50 for almost a month now
(b) VODAFONE does not have any cap/limit of 300 minutes
