IDEA Cellular Launches New SMS Packs for Kerala
IDEA Cellular, the pan India GSM operator, and the No.1 in Kerala, has launched exciting ‘Free SMS ’ packs for prepaid subscribers, in Kerala.
With the new range of special SMS packs, IDEA prepaid subscribers can enjoy sending upto 350 free Local and National SMS, for a period of 30 days, with a special voucher priced at just Rs. 36. Another new SMS pack, priced at Rs. 24 offers 240 free local and national SMS for a period of 10 days. Customers who wish to send only local SMS can opt for Rs. 14 voucher offering 200 Local SMS absolutely free, for a period of 30 days.
In addition, IDEA customers can continue enjoying the existing SMS pack priced at Rs. 60, offering 600 local and national SMS for 30 days. The new SMS packs are available at over 220 exclusive IDEA showrooms, in addition to other IDEA retail outlets, across the state.
The new offer has been specially designed targeting high SMS user categories such as the Youth who like to stay in touch with friends and family and share jokes and other messages; and young professionals and small entrepreneurs who need to reach out to prospective customers.

What a poor idea. The idea is giving 350 local and std sms by the recharge of 35. In the same time airtel is giving 4400 sms by the recharge of only Rs 44. Difference-4050 sms’s.
Aircel gives Unlimited SMS for one month in a 49 Rs Pack…

Your idea is good. but if you could introduce a sms recharge plan for local sms only at the same value, it may click. Anyway the number of sms should be more..eg. 2500 local sms for Rs 25 recharge
I dont know they are aware of the current market ,as other service providers are offering unlimited plans for within Rs.100 but they still stick to 2p/kb and also SMS packs are really worse that I have ever seen.

its too cruel… all ather networks provide unlimited sms offers… then why idea cant…… its tooo bad also…
