India’s leading GSM mobile Service operator Idea Cellular has launched two two new GPRS Packs at Rs.98 and Rs.8 for its prepaid mobile service users in Mumbai Telecom circle.
Idea Cellular’s Prepaid subscribers in Mumbai circle can opt the new pack by paying Rs.98 per month or Rs.8 for 1 Days access.These plans are available for usage ONLY on Mobile devices and should not be used on computers/laptops.
With the GPRS Pack of Rs.98 subscriber can browse and Downloads up to 70 MB (Data Transfer) per day free for 30 days from the date of recharges. The GPRS Pack of Rs.8 provides 70 MB data transfer cap for one day access. Post free usage Rs.5/MB will be charged for Data usage in both plans.

i took new idea sim to activate this service in kerala…satisfied with their service… got downloading speed upto 36kB/s… i used mobile office before this in which the maximum speed was 8kB/s… really loving idea…

Idea Cellular is the Best
Idea internet is best .i can use Skype and other VOIP software’s on my PC and skype even support’s Video calling.idea network is congestion free so i can browse the net at a high speed .Long Live Idea ,what a idea
most of the time the speed of idea internet remains the same .i am getting upto 30KBPS IN goa i can even control my friends PC by using Logmein ,Teamviewer remote desktop
i am relay happy with idea services

idea is the worst service provider… from past one month its network has become worst in karnataka, may be bcos of its 199 unlimited i-i free plan. idea cellular when u dont have capacity to maintain good & consistent network quality then why the hell u release such plans??? this will really irritate users..This company will never improve forever.. Idea learn from Reliance, its network is classic even though its offering free calls.. Even uninor is good in terms of network quality(clarity,connectivity) but it has poor coverage & hope they will enhance ter coverage, AIRTEL ROCKS its network quality has again become good from past 15days mostly Ericsson has started airtel’s network upgradation work in karnataka.. now Airtel beats uninor in terms of clarity..

Idea & Vodafone are always meant for looting the customer in Maharashtra circle. No GPRS plans, no 1ps/sec calling instead they charge 1.2ps/sec….
Vodafone has GPRS plan but limited to WAP or HTTP based GPRS, no full GPRS or TCP/IP based GPRS so can’t connect to PC or can’t run nimbuzz and more applications in mobile…
Idea don’t provide monthly based plan of Gprs in Maharashtra circle..
So both are looting to customer of Maharashtra..
So better to go with Airtel, Docomo, Aircel for GPRS plan in Maharashtra…

idea ka gprs sab se mahenga pack tha 25/day. main ye plan liya tha sms karte hi Rs25 deduct ho gaya, lekin GPRS activate 24hour baad hua, istarha 1din ka paisa fuzul gaya 3 din maine use kiya net baohut fast tha pasand aya AIRCEL ki tarha mara hua nhi tha, 4the din deactiavte ka message bheja to net tabhi band hogaya lekin service deactivate nxt day hui.istarha net to maine sirf 3din use kiya lkin ek din GPRS start hone or ek din se vice band hone k Rs.50 aisay hi chale gaye. ab idea 8rs plan me bhi 240/month charge kark naye users ka band bajaye ga. ek dinactivate kr k bhool gaya to har din ka automatic 8rs cut hota rahe ga. GPRS k bet 2 plan hai DOCOMO me or LOOP me DOCOMO me 94 ka refill kijiye 2lac docomo se docomo free min 1year tak or 1GB har mahine 1year tak. loop me duskagang package me raat 11 se subha7 baje tak raozana GPRS acces kar sakte hai har mahina 2GB 31 december 2010 tak.

What Rs77MB per day??? And after that users will be charged for Rs5/MB???? Why NOT charge Rs5000/GB?? While others are charging in the likes of 1p/1KB, 30p/50KB, IDEA asks for Rs5/MB..

yes but not true in mumbai circle, here mtnl unlimited gprs for 2g subscriber cost just Rs.71 per month (Rs.98-Rs.27 talk time) so its the cheapest and true unlimited gprs plan in mumbai which works on mobile and pc both.

For maharashtra-Goa, still there is no new GPRS plan as other circle. just existing unlimited GPRS at Rs.30 daily (you can activate it by sms GPRS UNLT to 54666)
