IDEA Cellular Launches 1 Paisa per Second in Bihar-JharkhandTo drive penetration into the saturated Bihar and Jharkhand’s GSM mobile service subscribers markets, IDEA Cellular today announced introduction of  ‘PAY PER SECOND PLAN’ dubbed as ‘Super Seconds’ as well as offered a tariff plan of 40 paisa pulse for a local a 60 paisa for all other networks in the country  named as Super Saral plan.
IDEA Cellular today announced the launch of an innovative and affordable tariff plan allowing its subscribers to ‘PAY PER SECOND’ for all Local and STD calls. IDEA Prepaid subscribers availing this plan will get to make all Local and STD calls on any network in India , at the lowest tariff of 1 paisa per second. To avail the per second tariff plan, Existing IDEA subscribers can purchase a special voucher priced at Rs.8, whereas new subscribers can get it for Rs.14.
IDEA has launched another innovative plan dubbed as SUPER SARAL which offering its customers Local call rate at just 40 paisa per minute, and STD at 60 paisa per minute on any other mobile and landline network in the country. To avail these new reduced tariff plans, existing IDEA prepaid subscribers can purchase a special voucher priced at Rs. 12, and new subscribers for Rs. 18. The new tariff vouchers will be available at all retail outlets, and Idea Points in Bihar & Jharkhand.

Speaking on the occasion Mr. M D Prasad, Circle Head – Bihar & Jharkhand, IDEA Cellular said, “This is yet another ‘first’ from IDEA to offer world class and affordable telephony services to mobile consumers in the region. With the new plans, IDEA subscribers in Bihar & Jharkhand will get the lowest call tariffs in the market. Mobile users can now use their mobile phones with absolute freedom without worrying about time or geography. I am confident that this will redefine mobile telephony services in the state, and drive penetration deeper in the market.”

Currently IDEA is present in 19 out of 22 telecom circles in the country. It has over 47 million GSM mobile subscribers under its GSM service brand “IDEA”.The company has licenses and spectrum to operate in all 22 service areas of India. It offers GSM mobile services in Andhra Pradesh, Bihar-Jharkhand, Delhi-NCR, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh-Chattisgarh, Maharashtra-Goa, Mumbai, Orissa,Punjab, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu-Chennai, UP-East and UP-West telecom circles.

    Ya isd roaming is available in prepaid if you are from kolkata circle as far as i know…the incoming charges wud be very high abroad depending upon the country and also you will be charged for incoming sms abroad…
    Correct me if their is a mistake

    As if only call rates are concerned, Tata GSM seems to be loosing grounds behind Idea or Aircel or Vodafone as even these companies have started offering per second plans at cheaper rates. Backbone to these companies is also that experience of service at respective circles unlike Tata GSM which is yet to launch services in so many circles.
