IDEA Cellular, the pan-India mobile operator with over 68 million subscribers nationally, has introduced new affordable tariffs customers with over Local Callings, GPRS and SMS for its prepaid subscribers in the Kolkata and West Bengal telecom circles.
Idea Cellular has introduced a special tariff plan which offers all Local and STD calls at just 40 paisa/min, with recharge of Rs. 21 and Rs. 37 which come with a validity of one year, and talktime of Rs. 15 and Rs. 37 respectively.
This plan will also offer 100 free Local and National SMS which will automatically get activated after sending the first 3 SMS at 60 paise per SMS, everyday. The free SMS offer is valid for a period of one month. STD calls at 40 paisa/min will help customers to remain in touch with their close ones anywhere in the country at affordable rates.
Idea has also introduced special offers dubbed as New Gang Plan targeting the large and growing youth segment, especially at a time when colleges have re-opened and students are looking for affordable tariff plans to stay in touch with their friends and connect to the world of Internet and social networking.
The New Gang Plan loaded with lowest Tariff & VAS benefits. From economical calling to unlimited SMS’s & GPRS offerings, the product has everything bundled together to the liking of today’s youth. The new youth product of Rs.19 offers Local Idea calling within the group at just 10 paisa/min. The pack also offers affordable calling rates for other calls made outside the student community, both Local and STD, at just 50 paisa/min.
Idea prepaid subscribers availing the youth product will also get 100 free SMS Nationally or Locally, everyday for 30 days. The tech savvy younger generation can also benefit from the power packed services under this offer, which allows them 5 MB of internet usage free daily for 30 days.

uninor is best in connectivity but lags in coverage.
aircel is good in coverage n connectivity but its clarity is less than uninor’s. @AWARA

well, i am a bit confused as in which connection to buy… idea is ok, heard that uninor is providing very good calling prices ie discount on per sec call… reliance – very doubtful. already using vodaphone.

IDEA IS WORST IN KARNATAKA. EVERYTIME IF I MADE A CALL FROM IDEA NUMBER THE SERVICE ALWAYS SAYS NETWORK BUSY. INTERNET IS TOO SLOW AND OFFERS ARE CRAP BUT COVERAGE MAP IS EXCELLENT

idea today in bihar scrapped its 85mb daily cap on its rs98 internet plan.now it will 2.5gb in a month and nt everyday 85mb.

Ye Idea sirf Kolkata & WB mein hin apna business chalana chahta hai kya? Sabse acchha plan sirf wahin lata hai. Is tarah ke offers pe aur circle walon ka bhi haque hai. Awesome plan.
