For the select few, it was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to meet the legend himself. At an event held in the city last evening, ‘Auro’ aka Big B aka Amitabh Bachchan made a special appearance to meet fans who had participated in IDEA Cellular’s consumer engagement activity ‘Talk to Auro’. IDEA Cellular’s ‘Talk to Auro’ campaign was designed to connect ‘Auro’, of the movie Paa, with his fans.
The character, Auro was assigned a unique IDEA number 09594999222 for millions of his fans across the country, to call him. Auro’s fans got a chance to talk to him, leave a message for him, and listen to Auro’s unique and lovable voice on phone. While callers from different places across the country such as Baroda , Delhi , Bilaspur etc received a call back from ‘Auro’, a select few got a rare chance to meet Amitabh Bachchan and signed autographs and posed with his fans at the event.
IDEA Cellular has launched a range of value added services such as wall papers, screen savers, ring tones, games and videos, around the movie ‘Paa’. Hi Friends,I am privileged to announce to you as a winner of this contest that it was a very memorable evening that I spent in my life. Meeting Amitabh Bachchanji was a wonderful experience. I had him say a few lines from Madhushala nad I just read in the newspapers today that It was Shri Harivanshraiji Bachchan’s 102nd Birth Anniversary yesterday. I am glad that I asked Bachchanji such a question which touched his heart on the day of his father’s birth anniversary.
