IDEA Cellular (Assam) Prepaid Plans In Details IDEA Cellular soon after its recent successful official launch of its GSM mobile service in Assam Idea today announced two different tariff options for its Prepaid mobile subscribers to stay in touch at very affordable cost with superior network.

The company announced its 2.75G EDGE enable GSM network in Assam will now cover the entire length of the country from Rajasthan in the West to Assam in the Eastern parts of India.

IDEA Cellular has added Assam as its 21st circle on the Company’s Pan India operation.IDEA Cellular Prepaid Card will cost Rs.49 and the subscriber can choose two different affordable tariff plans dubbed as Special Launch Pack-1 and 2 which will allow subscribers to opt lowest local and STD calling options with its Prepaid GSM Mobile service.

With the Special Launch Pack-1, Idea subscribers enjoy all Local calls at 40paisa per minute. The Special Launch Pack-2 that is “Pay Per Second Plan” with this for all Local and STD calls to any network across India will be charged at One Paisa for One Second. The Local and National SMS charges will be 60 paisa per SMS to any network with in India for both plans.

I have had a very hard time trying to connect calls with any of my friends in Assam under IDEA….. any clue as to what the problem is? I have only been able to get one call to connect in over two weeks.

Idea telecom should give at 30p/min call rates to all idea customes with a validity of 90 days…
Also it should launce a new sms pack, as there is no good sms packs…
We also need local call call free minutes packs, will Idea launce all locan mobile free minutes packs with validity of 1 month, as reliance have a free minutes pack i.e get 220minuts of local calling free to any mobile at just @80/- per month in RELIANCE. Will Idea can give this tarrif plan?????????

Act. In north east zone thr wud b no lifetime validity as per Dot guidelines…so ths prob. Has been tackled by introducing rolling validity..means after evry 89th day re 1 wil b deductd to xpand val. To mre 90daz..same is the case wid tarif val..

For Assam and NE circles DoT guidelines are different from other circles for Prepaid offerings, so the offer is described with 3 months/6 months validity and after that it will be auto renewed by most of the operators.for more details just check idea website or call customer care.
